Nuked Egg Whites...

I think they taste very close to those cooked in a pan on the stove. Drawbacks are as follows...tough to tell how long to cook them, they tend to get watery and it is very difficult to get the bowl good and clean after using it. I tried it for a while, but went back to cookin them in a pan.

If you cook them plain it tastes like cardboard. What i generally do is nuke it and put it between 2 slices whole wheat bread, fat free cheese, low fat mayo and when bulking i add 2 slices turkey bacon and regular lean meat turkey coldcuts. Makes a great breakfast sandwich.

I've found the same thing I usually cook them for 5 minutes because the bottom often stays watery unless I do. Nothing appears to happen if you cook them for excessive periods of time. They don't burn that easily in the nuker.

Actually I've found it only sticks to the bowl if you add ingredients to the egg whites before cooking even adding garlic powder causes the egg to stick terribly where the garlic touches the side. But if you cook up the whites plain and add the seasonings after no stick at all you can eat the eggs and when you done it looks like the bowl hasn't even been used. Its my favorite thing about the microwave and eggs

Thanks guys...actually a couple months ago I bought this omelette maker from walmart for like $3...haven't used it yet...was kinda' leary of nuked whites...i think i'll give it shot though...
it's got 2 sides to it for easy flipping so it'll get done on both sides.
i'll let ya' know how it works.:)

I nuke 2 eggs every morning (yolk and whites)
I poke the yolks with a fork so it doesn't blow up in the microwave.
60 seconds per egg and 98% of the time they're done perfect, not too dry, not too runny.
If they're too runny (usually on the bottom) I just flip em over in the bowl, then put in for another 10 sec. or so.
