I wouldn't take my kids to a nude beach...and I have zero hangups about nudity and even agree that americans are a bunch of prudes. That said, while I have no problems with nakedness, I associate it with human sexuality. That, again, does not make it dirty...but it does make it something my babies don't need exposure to till they are old enough.

ok. i'll explain it.

my father did not live in any type of nudist colony or anything. he just sunbathed nude every day. he would usually wear clothes around the house, or a towel when getting out of a shower, but would drop the towel and get dressed nomatter who was in the room.

If he was going to the beach, which he did a lot (btw... my father was a competitive bodybuilder), i was welcome to go. i knew it was a nude beach and I could wear clothes or not- didn't matter to anyone.

it's how I grew up. seeing a naked man has never freaked me out, or turned me on. not at all.

i know it sounds strange. it's just how it was- never had an inappropriate moment with him at all, and as I got older, it was actually nice to be able to be very open with my father about my life.
