Only in America and by an American would this statement occur. In Europe people are not concerned about "triggering" impulses. Old men don't flash shit nor do old women. When everyone is on a beach or camp that is nude no sexual ANYTHING is perceived nor is it an issue. When you grow up in a healthy atmosphere where sex isn't "Dirty" as it is here and by reading your post I can see that is your viewpoint, the children grow to view sex as a gift and are far less promiscuous than their American counterparts.

EXACTLY, in E U R O P E. I could write a thesis on the differences between Europe and the US. You cannot adopt a cultural lifestyle of a country within another of opposing views and moral aptitude and expect an identical result or outcome.

I have been exposed to may nudist societies. when i lived in the south i lived and worked at a nudist colony located just blocks from where I lived. Nudists are fucking weird people with cult like behaviors. In the other countries where I have been to nude beaches where it is more accepted as a cultural whole is a different story. Those cultures have this mentality embedded in them, here in the US it is not and never will be.

As I said the US is a strange place where people have values that are left over from who the hell knows.

I have been to a number of nudist camps and resorts as well as beaches all through the US. The people that frequent these places are in 2 catagories, 1 they are true nudists that respect everyone, 2 they are wannabe swingers looking for free or easy ass.

I detect a bit of distress in your posts and the words you use, perhaps there is an issue you had with these people that influenced your thought process. As a whole, when one has a negative experience or an experience unusual to their upbringing the topic at hand is what causes the distress.

Anyway, Americans have a jaded viewpoint on anything that has to do with the human body.

You've got to think outside the box here, imagine if YOU were raised in a household where nudity is not considered inappropriate or wrong. You raise your children the way YOU were raised. How many different cultures can you name that don't think twice about a woman being topless in public?

Nudists do not wake up and start dragging their 10 and 12 year olds to nude beaches. This is something they were doing from the time before the kids were born and just continued doing all throughout their lives. The kids are nude because they're comfortable with it and being around it In the Netherlands the family saunas together naked, in Japan the family bathes together, throughout Europe and South America public nudity is the norm. Hell, on British t.v. they can show full frontal during the family hour.

America is the one with the body issues, not everyone else.

although I agree with these statements completely.. the issue is it's the same logic and same arguments that many organizations use to justify pedophile activities.. It's same arguments that "Sex after Eight too late" groups use to advance their causes..

Actually, from what I've read it seems that MOST children who are molested have it happen at home, the rest are in church or at school.

I simply can't get over the *insane fear* and *dirty-ness* that is atrributed to one of the most unbelievably beautiful works of machinery and art = the human body.

I don't impose my points of view onto others so I don't see why I need be judged by theirs.

You're so perceptive, HELL yes there is distress in my posts. this comes from knowing that out of the thousand or so US nudists that I have met in my lifetime, not one of them hasn't been a complete weirdo. Case and point:

I am in no way saying that this applies to all of them but certainly to all that I have come into contact with and am speculating the majority.
