There really isn't anything sexual about nude beaches and in fact most people look better with bathing suits on. Just think about boobs. Many times they look much better in a bra then just hanging there.

yes i've been, plenty of times. I spent my summers with my father who was a nudist.

i never saw anything inappropriate and the only time i ever felt strange was when i was laying in the sun by myself and a group of around 5 mexican boys came up to my towel. They asked if i knew what time it was and I remember feeling like I was obviously about to be raped, right there on the beach. I told them the time and they said thanks and took off.

Not everyone is as repressed about nudity as most Americans are. It is legal for many to sunbathe nude in PUBLIC PARKS in Europe and many other places around the world.

So what is so fucked up about a parent taking his child to a nude beach?

Going to a clothing optional situation is funny, you feel all timid at first then you get over it, then you get to the point where clothing is just dumb ...

For god's sake, remember to bring sunscreen! If this is the first time you've gone au naturale parts of you have NEVER seen the sun and boobs burn easily. Another essential, remember to bring an extra towel to carry where ever you go for sitting on furniture/benches/chairs.

But seriously, you see enough nude people you eventually stop being shocked, impressed or even interested. Wear large, really dark sunglasses so you can stare without being obvious and get it out of your system (it's also considered rude to openly stare at naughty bits) and sexual behavior is absolutely inappropriate (there's also a certain way to hug strange naked people but since you're not going to a pagan event you really don't have to worry about that).

I like clothing optional places, gives me an interesting perspective on the rest of society.
