Now I Know Why I Don't Go On Other Boards

After the whole raw deal thing .
I have seen lots of people vanish from the boards.
Some were sources some were resellers some were buyers.
boards are still going but have very little activity

To be honest the way the govt is hacking into everything or having sites hand over info ,if we were all smart we all would not even log on to any of these sites much less post the information that we do.

This was the second board i found. the first was the bb.com and it ws ok but very overwhelming with everything there. Didnt like how the site was set up and my first post I got flamed. I was asking about sust and the flames just came. Dont remember what I asked but it wasnt a dumb question or so I thought.

I come here ask a similar question and actually got help. Thats why i stayed here and bought a membership.

When i first came here the flaming was bad but kinda fun. i got caught up in it Ill admit but the board turned it around and has a great learning atmosphere now.

true....but not wising up and having supposed "good bros" back your bad advice doesn't make this place look good either. don't confuse this statement as bashing EF-i like it here :), but it's just discouraging that's all.

post an example of a specific piece of bad advice (without saying who the author was) that was then specifically backed, endorsed, by a "good bro".

the point has been made here over and over by a few people in a few ways -> the way to defeat bad speech, is with more and better speech. not with censorship.

Speaking generally, not to you specifically, going forward, if you disagree with advice, quote the advice and explain why. thats what a discussion board is for. discussion. dont attack the author, attack the advice.

if you have superior facts or logic behind your different opinion, or a number of vets post in support of your different opinion, the readers will see that and tend to discard the "bad advice".

i agree....however, if u notcie the same person (no one in particular) give bad advice over and over, then maybe a strait up confrontation is appropriate.......and by bad advice, i mean things we all agree on, like telling a newbie to use 200mgs drol a day for 10 weeks

I have also noticed a substantial amount of drivel on other BB sites

I was perusing some of the other BB/steroid boards on the net and man, I've forgotten how much they suck. Talk about stupid!

One site had the resident experts arguing endlessly over a carbon atom of test testosterone enanthate. These are what I consider the "geek" sites. It's all a bunch of chemistry students trying to be bad ass. In the end, they called each other names and nothing was resolved.

Another site that's kinda cool is devoted to old school bodybuilding but the board topics are stuff like "Who do you think REALLY should have won the Mr. North America contest in 1964?" Holy mother of fuck, can anything be less important? They also refuse to acknowledge the old timers used steroids and they have an almost god-like reverence for anyone who lifting weights prior to 1979. There's no fool like an old fool.

Another popular site has a steroid expert who has never used steroids. His expertise in the science is good but he misses so many fundemental points his advice is essentially worthless.

Another site talks about Muscletech supplements and how to stack them to match the gains of Jay Cutler.

Another site advocates outrageous dosages and includes pics of the members. Seriously, I'd be fucking embarassed to walk on the beach without a T-shirt if I looked like some of these guys and thy're all bragging about how hardcore they are.

Other sites have a paultry few members where posts are made with no responses for days. How sad is that?

And of course there's the ubiquitous name called, insults, rank outs, adolescent dissing, tough guy posturing and "calling out" jambories. And the funniest thing is none of them have a clue as to how clueless they are!

Okay, rant over. It's just that every now and then someone asks me what other boards I frequent, and all I can think of is to say; "Why?"

It's like any party is going to have a few people that you wouldn't necessarily consider good friends, but that's okay. I'd still rather go to a big party then one with just a handful of people who all think alike.
Agreed ,its always fresh air here .

I assume the 200mg abombs advice was attacked by lots of people, and any noob reading the thread left ef with no doubt in his mind that 200mg a day on abombs was most definitely not a good idea for him. the system worked. (i assume).

and yes on the civil confrontation thread, as long as it doesnt just become repetitive and ad hominem. Group-Think blows.

there wasnt any real 200mg drol thread, just giving an example of what would be considered as bad advice by almost anyone.
