this is my first cycle--got gear from mod-approved source, looks perfect---im running 500mg of sust a week and 400 mg of british dragon eq a week--tomorrw will be start of week 6--my strength is up, but weight gain is not--im up about 7-8 lbs--is it possible its still not fully kicked in yet?? i was gonna run it for 10 weeks but may extend to 12--running 5 weeks of winny zambons at end as well

I'm a little confused....."my strength is up, but weight gain is not--im up about 7-8 lbs"......that sounds pretty good for 6 weeks......especially since it's probably mostly lean body mass.....
 
dude what r u talking about - u r up 7-8 lbs thats called weight gain
 
sounds to me like you want the drugs to do all the work for you....well it doesn't work like that. Whats your bulking diet like?? Whats your training like??? These are usually the two major areas in which people neglect!! Still 7-8 pounds is pretty good and i think by the end you will have put on at least 20 which is awesome BUT this will only happen if your diet and training are down to a point (little quote from Arnold!!)
 
Steroids won't add weight, food does. Steroids will allow you to make better use of the food you take in.
 
at first, i may have been eating too clean, not getting enough calories, worry too much about fat content--now, i began eating whatever and alot of it--my training has been very good tho--so this doesn't sound crazy?? as long as i keep training rite, and eating good, it taking this long to kick in isn't neccassarily bad?
 
halfway through my cycle, thats a 15lb gain on my first cycle, and thats not even what im keepin--i was hopin for a little more
 
Well, the sust and eq have only been fully active for a couple weeks. I think you're just starting to reach the point where gains should be coming on strong.

How much strength have you gained?
 
Water weight gain is more water retension. Eq will not give you water problems and sust is formulated to give you less water retension than regular test. Six weeks and 8lbs is probably more quality gains. If your not afraid of a little fat gain and you needent be then chow down on some caorie dense foods. Ive found my muscle grow better when I retain some fat. Hows the sleep and rest periods?

i'm on my 7th week of sustanon and only on week 6 i started to see a major change.

the first 4 weeks there was only like a 5 pounds increase so i upped the dose from 250mg every 5 days to 500mg every week.

believe it or not from week 6 to week 7 i manage to gain 8 pounds.

again, in one week..........8POUNDS!!!


the point is that the susta will catch up! dont get frustrated dude.
 
with the gear ur using it probably only has been kicked in for a week and u already gained that much!!! wait until the extra 8 weeks...until clomid therapy and u'll have plenty more pounds added on!!! be patient!!! Peace
 
EQ really kicks in hard at about week 8, ive heard, but i do not know from personal experience. This may be your problem, but EAT LIKE A MOFO!

I was pissed my first Sust cycle. It was week 6 of 8, I had "only" gained around 6lbs, and thought that was due to an "increased caloric intake". Then all of the sudden, I blew up by another 10 lbs in the last two weeks. I eventually settled around +8-10.

I'm doing another Sust only cycle now and am not expecting anything until my 4th week. Anyways, my point is, don't worry about it. 8lbs is good for a cycle and maybe you'll gain some more. Either way, keep training hard, now isn't the time to get pissed and start slacking.

add 1000 calories to your diet you'll gain some more weight. Remember weight doesn't determine the quality of your cycle.
 
Hey good idea on 1g a week for a first cycle. still cant grow? Maybe you should double it.

I can't stress how much this comes into it while on gear. Your body can use a shitload more protein while at a higher testosterone level... it is more anabolic... in that your body is in a state of building. It is completely possible to go through a cycle of 500mg test and 400mg eq and only put on 5-10lbs if you dont' eat... without protein and other foods, your muscles will not be able to grow!! :)

Yep. The right gear is only half the pieces of the puzzle bro. The other half is your diet, training ,sleeping so on. Check out the diets thats some dudes have on here and you will be amazed at what it takes. Also those gains you have are most likely very solid. Meaning that with proper post cycle recovery you should keep 90 %. Putting on weight slowly and consistently is the best way. Ive blown way up on cycles and then lost most of it. It makes you feel like shit. You hit a few week high then a long low. So keep a positive attitude and keep pushing forward. Your fine

hey bro i was in the same boat as you once. i ran 500mg sust first cycle planned for 8 weeks, did only 7, and ran 400mg eq last 3 weeks. i thought i was eating alot, but trust me, i wasn't. also i noticed when i stopped at week 7, i noticed 2 weeks later (when the sust was still in me kicking in fully by this time) i had gained 10 pounds all of a sudden. wish i stayed on for a full 8 or even 12, and ate much more. i was worried about the fat thing too. dont bulk if you're too fat. diet down some. i started out at about 25% bf, im down to about 16% now dieting the last couple weeks on gear, and will get to about 6%. THEN i will finally bulk and eat alot of clean food. you need to eat. or you will waste your time, juice, training efforts, money, and motivation. you'll be pissed too.
 
not too worried about fat--im 200lbs and 9-10% bf--i hate that fat tho--diet is around 3500 cal. 275 protein--i guess i feel better that it is just kicking in

well i wont bulk til im down to 6% bf, then i will bulk but eat clean foods like dieting food. carbs and protein at about 1.8g per pound of bodyweight, dont add any fats, they come from the oats, 7-12 grain bread, lean steak, 1-2 yolks with the egg whites, etc. but the food has to be like oatmeal with egg whites, chicken and yam, eye-of-round steaks, whey protein isolate, maltodextrin post-workout, etc. this is what i am doing next bulk, im sure it will work. try eating about 6-7 meals of these. you wont gain fat.
