and let us not forget that WHOLE FOOD proteins are superior to everything. I have posted this before but I make my best gains when I eat plenty of real food. Shakes are great for missed meals or on the go guys but anytime you can use real food (let me add Healthy real food) then I would choose that over anything else.
People talk about the general Optimum 100% Whey. How good is this infact? I made my best gains from MethoxyPro, but this was the first time I used protein supplementation. I have not used it since, but just because.
so you do not subscribe to the theory that you can just use MORE whey protein concentrate over whey isolate?
this is what i have been doing but i am thinking of dropping the WPC and switching to whey isolate
BTW I am looking to really lean up. I am currently just under 10% and need to drop it down further and think the WPC is somewhat holding me back because of the extra amount i am using...
well I won't go that far. Would you rather have the flintstones car or a new mercedes? machines definetly have a place higher than free weights in my book. Of course I am also talking about high-quality machines such as Med-X, superslow, nautilus, hammer strength. Cybex and the like make barbells look like gold.

Still even though these machines are good and some do have a free weight feel to them since the machines move around in your more natural range of motion but machines are still on a fixed plane so you never have to worry about balance or stabilization. The result. Less overall muscle and less stabilizing muscles being worked using machines over free weights. Free weights are functional strength builders machines are not.
I see a lot of people combining casein and whey. Why not just purchase milk isolate, which is cheaper than both, and add some extra whey if you want a higher percentage?
