I send my brother money about once a month through WU. I always go to the same WU location. The damn clerk started asking me all these questions about who this is I am sending money to and why I do it once a month about the same time. He asked if I paid my rent through western union or something? what the hell?

Yeah they are bitches like that. Usually they are just trying to make convo but it definitely is annoying. Yesterday when I went to buy my syringes at the pharmacy down the street the guy asked me why do I need different length pins and he said "oh it must be for rotating sites" I said "yeah something like that".. I felt like saying dont fucking worry about why i need different lengths just do your job ring me up so I can go shoot 6cc's to the dome.

I dont get why people just dont mind thier own fucking business!!!! its like at work when we have a CPR or something where we need several nurses or a crazy person going off. There is always some mother fucker that will come out of their room(family anyways) and stand either outside the room and try to watch or in the hallway and peer in. pisses me off more than anything.

They are obligated to ask these questions to comply with Anti-Money Laundering regulations. Most likely they just had some sort of training program and now they are asking questions. They are required to file a report to management anytime something looks suspicious. A report is then sent to the feds (FINCEN) who investigate it further.

Companies such as WU face severe penalties if they do not report something that looks suspicious, so most tend to over-report everything regardless of merit. That guy behind the counter can make your life difficult. I would play it safe and not piss anybody off.
