We can't, right now, but that's why there is a mad dash for some limited ballistic missile defense. For these types of situations.

The best place to nail it is when the missile is in the boost phase. It gets much harder to target after that.

george bush has been talking about a missile defense program, but i forgot which party was so against it...i forgot which party said there was no need for a missile defense program....i forgot which party said we couldnt do it, because of some treaties we had with the former soviet union...

didnt i hear that the pentagon had to dummy up the tests to get that missle defense thing to work?

as i understand it, its a laser that would explode the missle or some shit. somehow, i just dont beleive its possible. sounds like a way to waste 90 billion more on R&D.

but hey, fuck it. were already seeing defeicits as far as the eye can see, so whats a little more.

I just remembered something. There's a kind of nuke where it's actually many nukes being carried by one ICBM and before the end of the flight it sort of opens up or something like that and all of the nukes inside take off on their own paths to hit numerous targets. Man that's some nasty shit.

The "True" shield will use tactical nukes! No convential methods will be used! It's to hot to handle as of now! What the public knows and what is going on are two different things!
