Doing 5x5 on my deadlift today.

Using 350lbs, on the 5th rep of the 5th set, my hamstring goes slack (felt like something crawling under the skin....yech), and down the bar goes, with me following shortly thereafter.

I was taking 2 min between sets and getting a little lightheaded. I should have taken more time between sets today.

Pain isn't too bad, but it was instant and is now lingering.

I was able to finish my workout though. hehe

Monday is 5x5 on squats with the same weight. Hopefully it's just a little strain.

Grrrr....

No bruising, thankfully.

It's tight and sore. Ice pack for me.

On a side note, my shins are nice and bloody. ;)
 
In my experiences, when I hurt myself and still finish a workout I end up worse off than I would have.

I only did a few biceps/forearm exercises afterwards. I skipped the rest of my back workout.

That's what I'm talking about! I think my shins are scarred forever.
 
I remember seeing a photo shoot of Jay Cutler in Flex (when I used to read it...heh) and his shins were all scabbed up.

You know he's working his butt off.
