Nolvadex worked where Letro didnt...

Had a small lump appear last cycle. I was on Letro for almost a month at 2.5mg and barely saw a change. Decided to give up so I hopped on Nolvadex at 40mg a day for estrogen rebound from the letro.

After about a week my lump is almost completely gone.

So for those who think Nolvadex is something of the past it is still very effective at the lump type gyno.

Nolvaldex - tamoxifen citrate - has solid studies supporting its effectiveness at reducing existing gynecomastia.

search EF for Nolvaldex - tamoxifen citrate - and my username and pull them up.

p.s. dont use nolva with a suspected case of "progesterone gyno". there you should stick with letro and add in dostinex

:) :) :)

letro doesn't have a rebound effect bro, nolvadex does. High quality letro should get the job done as well just as good for most people BTW.

LOL@U why would nolvadex have a rebound effect? Letro has an estrogen rebound due to total estrogen inhibition.

the theory is there's sort of an indirect delayed rebound after nolva if you have circulating levels of E because of the newly freed and avaiable estrogen receptors

so if taking 40mg of nolvadex everyday what should one take to prevent any rebound

try to taper off instead of stopping cold turkey, and add in a touch of AI (letro/adex/aromasin) at the same time

as far as I know, there are no scientific studies on this, only bro-ology, but thats the conventional wisdom and it seems logical
