No energy while working out?

But would consuming 100 - 150g of carbs be considered low-carbing?

Yes you would still be consuming a low amount of carbs. However, if you're following Crum's diet (the original plan), 100-150g of cabs are too much. The only other carbs beside those from green vegtables, should be coming directly after your glyogen depletting workouts. However, like Crum Cake has said before, this is not a Keto type diet, so if you feel you need those carbs, than eat them.......in moderation.

when i first started my low carb diet i felt the exact way, even had slight headaches throughout the first couple days, after around a week my body adjusted and i feel normal now. be patietn and see how u feel in around a week or two.

I agree 100%, with 110% :)

I started a low carb / low calorie diet last Monday...and I felt so weak and wasted...but now in my second week and feel "okay" in the gym, which is fine since I normally feel like ass on a low cal diet....

the worst (besides feeling skinny) is the people who say stuff like..."man you look like your losing muscle, are you allright?"...damn that just makes you want to eat a ton of food forever and never diet, but you just have to tell yourself that it`s only going to be a few weeks before you bulk up again.

Trav maybe you're losing too much weight too quickly? In that sense you would be sacrificing muscle.

And i think Pardeus stated once that the brain alone uses about 100g of carbs/day. Think about that, and think how much more energy you expend at the gym, walking around, etc. If you don't eat enough carbs you will use the protein you consume as carbs. It's essential to eat enough carbs to let the protein do its job and the carbs be used as energy.
