Best Combo: Minoxidil and Folligen

These work synergistically.

Minoxidil prevents further hair loss and can promote growth of vellus hair.

Folligen promotes quicker hair growth and will actually turn vellus hairs into hair hairs -- It's like fertilizer for your scalp!

For best results, use the Folligen about 5-10 minutes after the minoxidil.

You can also try retinoic acid (retinol) and azaleic acid (skinoren).

Head & Shoulders may also help because the minoxidil can cause dandruff and the dandruff can worsen the situation.

Over here in Canada you can get Nizoral 2% easily from Shoppers Drug Mart. It's just a common thing up here. I don't see why it's such a big deal b/c it's just another shampoo. I got a new box unopened never used I bought before. Anyone want cause I probably am never gonna use it.

no offense, but no expert need reply.
1)daily 1mg of proscar (finasteride) also Saw Palmetto extract
2) daily use ED or EOD of 2% (preferably) nizoral SHAMPOO. not any rub on.
3) twice daily application of minoxidil, morning and night.
4) once nightly application of 5% spiro topical

i personally use minoxidil/azeliac acid combo since AA is also a topical anti-androgen and you can get them in combo for not to much more cash. in addition, since i use the combo product i apply minox/AA once a day at night a while after the spiro. that stuff stinks like shit and i don't want it in my hair all day if i put it on in the morning.

yeah, it messes up your libido. well, for many it does. that is why i try to use it just around test cycles only. but no one has confirmed how long you have to be on it pre-cycle to have it work properly. i thought it was 1-2 months, and then a "finasteride expert" said 6 months. so if its 6 months then screw it, not going on that stuff all year round. just around test cycles is fine though.

2. Azelaic acid.. is that the 20% cream? How much should that cost? ( I found 10gr. tube for $30) How long would that last?

120ml for $17 nizoral 2%....don't buy yours
as for the azelaic acid, i get the 5% variety mixed with the 5% minoxidil. i had not researched the azelaic acid by itself since i just got it with the minoxidil that i was getting anyways as a combo. that goes for 60ml at $18 (the 5%/5% minoxidil/AA). i'll email you that site also. 5% to 20% is a big difference though, wasn't aware it came that high of a concentration. but i doubt this place would put out a product that didn't work......who knows though.

Actually, you could easily get dutasteride. You can do a search on google.com if interested. I don't, personally, see how it would be so dangerous. It works the same way as finasteride but blocks both types of enzyme. If you were worried about blocking too much of the type-1 then you could take a very small dose of dutasteride with a higher dose of finasteride adjusted to have the desired effects. Just always remember to research, research, research before undertaking these kinds of treatment and understand for yourself what you are putting in you.
