Good info, but don't forget dutasteride. It works like propecia, but it blocks both DHT forming enzymes (hey, I'm no chemist- but this basically explains it!).

Jacob
I think it's too potent jacshelb, inhibiting both isoenzymes. It hasn't been trialed and approved for mpb and probably wont...
That shit might make your dick fall off!:FRlol: as even Dr. Lee is reluctant on recomending it for hairloss.

Following is Dr. Lee's latest statement on Avodart (aka., dutasteride).

“I talked to Glaxo-Wellcome (888-825-5249) on the 10th of October, 2002. Dutasteride 0.5 mg soft gel capsules were approved by the U.S. FDA on 9 October 2002 for the treatment of benign prostatic enlargement and they are expected to be available in U.S. pharmacies by ‘early to mid-December 2002.’

I definitely do not plan to dispense the gel capsules via our web site (www.minoxidil.com). Doing so would be a flagrant violation of the Business and Professional Codes, and recent rulings by the California Medical Board forbids physicians licensed in California from doing so, as it is considered to be a ‘dangerous drug.’

As for writing off-label prescriptions for dutasteride, I will not do so because it would constitute an egregious practice of medicine. To date there is no evidence that dutasteride can be safely and effectively utilized for treating MPB.

Whereas I did prescribe and dispense finasteride to my patients to help treat MPB before Propecia was approved by the U.S. FDA on 14 November 1997, the circumstances were quite different. Finasteride had already been in widespread general use since 1992, so there was already a large body of knowledge in regards to its effects as well as its side effects. Even so, there were many ‘side effects’ subsequently added to the package insert. They included, but were not limited to breast tenderness and enlargement, and hypersensitivity reactions, including lip swelling and skin rash.

There is a wise and time honored saying by Alexander Pope (1688 - 1744) who wrote, ‘Be not the first by whom the new are tried, nor yet the last to lay the old aside.’”

Richard Lee, M.D.

BTW I like the quote by Pope....may use it for my signature one day ;)

you can get 1% in drugstores/supermarkets. not the 2%. 2% is available domestic though, on a reputable hair care site with no script required.

Bad black, thanx bro, i have one more question you told me about spiro cream i just spoke with my doc' (he is as dumb as a post) he never heard of spiro cream and who makes it, but one thing he heard of is Alctodone(spiro) in pill form, so if im gonna take pill form how much do i take?????

I got nizoral 1% today, and Minoxidil (i never knew it was Rogaine), also i got T-sal shampoo which contains 3%salicylic acid, i was told that with nizoral works good. Now how do i get my doc to prescribe me Propecia(finasteride) and what about spiro cream, whats the name of it and how do i get it?

What do you reccomend as the best stack and at what lengths do i go to and what dosage?

minoxidil.com has the original 5% spiro cream. now there are generic versions of it, as well as 2% liquid versions. also both are available on that site i mentioned. i will email it to you (the site). so its not out of the ordinary for your doc to know about the anti0-fungal pills and not the topical spiro. do not take the pills, not for what you want. spiro 5% is best applied once daily at night. minoxidil is twice daily, but you want to leave time inbetween applying it and the spiro. i leave as much time as possible, right before bed usually. i do:
minoxidil 5%: morning and night (or just night)
spiro 2% or 5%: nighttime once daily
nizoral 1% or 2% ED on showering in morning
proscar during test cycles and saw palmetto all the time (good for prostate if nothing else)

Karma to you bro, you're very helpful, thanx

http://www.minoxidil.com/ your doc should be able to prescribe it through their doctor. or just get the generic version. if your email is on your profile i will email it to you now, if not post your email or PM it to me.
