I read in the new issue of Maxim about surgery for women that leaves their nipples permanently erect. It also said it was used by male bodybuilders. Has anyone else heard of this? I'd be interested because even after my gyno surgery my nips still have a bit of puffiness. I searched the web but couldn't find any info on it.

Im thinking of getting my gyno cut..and usefull info?...Will Health insurnence cover the cost?..How much pain involved?..How much recoup time is needed?

Insurance rarely covers gyno surgery. I paid for mine out of pocket. The surgeon did liposuction only on me. There was very little pain, it just felt like muscle soreness. Sometimes they use a scalpal and cut out the harder tissue as well. I've heard alot of people that ended up with a big scar with that procedure. With lipo only they cut you under your arms and the incisions are pretty small.

Flaming, I paid $3500. I went the lipo only route because that was what the surgeon said would give the best results. I took his word for it. He said he had done bodybuilders before and lipo gave the best results with the least amout of scarring.
I'm just a bit disappointed that my nips are still puffy. He said that the nips may still shrink over the next year. I hope so.

my insurance covered my gyno surgery and i have no scars.she cut directly through the nipple and sewed it with internal stitches.i am very pleased with te results.my nipples are flat and look like i never had surgery or gyno.i didnt get lypo because thats considered cosmetic and that would not be covered but the fat is not the noticable
