I grew up in St. Louis as well.....and while I can't account for anyone being prejudice against me in High School......there have been many time's I encountered it in my life......being 250 plus pounds, I don't hear anti-semitism as much as I feel it sometimes....and not looking at all Jewish......I can almost be assured it is not directed at me......EITHER WAY prejudice or racism in shape or form is intolerable......young ignorant white kids.....in suburbia have no clue as to the overtones of the word Nigger.......and if for two seconds they found themselves in North St. Louis County, you can be assured they would never use the word........ in my High School I had almost as many black friends as white due mostly to the de-seg program and being involved in sports......and I can assure you I never once refferred to them as "my nigga"......

I use to hangout with a group of guys growing up who called each other nigger all the time. had a friend named Keith(big black dude with a huge fro) and he'd get stonned and walk around at parties looking at all the white people asking them if their cops or or asking them if they took his joint that was in his fro and acting all weird and mad about it and scaring these white kids to death. his favorite thing to do was to get real close to some kid, and then act all offended and be like" what the fuck did you say? you call me a nigger?" and we'd both laugh are asses off afterwards

sorry. No but seriously Cheif Wide, based on your experiences it is not acceptable for you. I see it kind of different. I have a couple friends and we call each other much worse when we hang out or play tackle football in the mud. We call bitches, sluts, fags, wuss, and yes even "you foKin Niggar!!"...and it is funny, and abusive all at the same time. Now when we play with other guys we have to be careful we dont trip out on them with bitch and niggars etc...cause they might be sensitive.
One time we played football and my buddy called this black guy a niggar after he tackled him real f*kin hard...lol well this black guy had only played with us 1 time and he did not know it wasn't any big deal...he was mad, he said get up cracker, get up so I can show you what this nigar can do...my friend got up, ducked his haymaker, and beat him senseless while we all watched, and then we played football with one less dude on the other team...lol
So some people get mad at nigga and some dont, I think it only matters how you mean it. Nigar doesnt mean African "hate term to me" it means trash, dirty, scum, and you can be white and be a nigar. Like a wigar but just more dirty.
But I wont ever jokingly call you my nigga or anything like that, because where you come from it aint cool. So Peace.

I have a great idea.......come to St. Louis........head up to Riverview Gardens High School..........they always have a few
pick-up afterschool football games............play these guys, and throw your hate slurs around there........shit you wouldn't even have to call em nigger......bitch would do just fine......

You must have me mistaken for a kid. I dont play high school kids, I mostly play with my college buddies well we are out of college now. But we have several black guys playing with us. Most of them I have known for 10 years or so. We all say nigga or nigger, but we dont try to talk with full fledged ebonics. We dont expose our underwear with saggy pants or wear our hat to the side Understand?
I am playing with friends that are black and white and even a hispanic bro and we all call each other names in joking after a big hit or TD.
I have no doubt I would not bode well going to St Louis on somebody elses turf and calling them a bitch. Why dont you try that where I am? That is universal, you go to someone elses turf and disrespect and you better be ready to box or STFU or die. Your mama might not even hear a word on the news...you just vanish in Texas.
Try to understand my point, for me it matters how the word is meant and who you say it to. Say it to your friends no biggy, say it to a stranger who does not know your intent and it will cause problems.
BTW, Texas is a little more well known for Football than Mo. My boys and I would crush some high school kids - but thanks for the invite PITBULL, I will keep that in mind next time I go to MO...I am there for a day or two 2 times a year. I visit Arkansas up around Mountain Home to fish in Feb and Oct. I usually drive into MO to the Bass Pro Shop while there.
