Newbie's first thread... looking for some advise please

Hello to all.

I would like some advise about what types to use? methods of use/options? what types should be used or cycled with one another? do i have to use injections? Hope that's not too much to ask...? Yes that means I've not yet dabbled but very curious to get started.

Just looking for general advise to allow me to focus my research with greater accuracy.

I am not being lazy, i've been reading up on the interweb and there seems to be some conflicting info out there and i'm still trying to get some definitive answers to the questions above.

The first question is (and should always be IMHO) what do I want to achieve?

A:: In order of priority...
Minimal side effects
Optimum power to weight ratio
Increased muscular strength (allowing me to train harder)
Increased CV endurance
5-10kg lean muscle increase
Reduce my body fat to 8-9%

My stats
31
5'10"
170lb
15% body fat
been training sporadically for 6 years
5 meals per day (protein shake used in place of proper feed occasionally)
2-3ltr of water per day
Good quality multivit
fish oil supp
aloe vera juice drink

What training am I doing?
Fasted early morning cardio (wearing my X-vest) = 6days p/w (45minutes)
Cross country running with calisthenic intervals to break it up

I am a chef and so i am on my feet for 50hrs a week on average
considering wearing my X-vest whilst at work too (overload principal)

Afternoon/evening training session 4 days p/w, this could be any of the following...
Calisthenics
Long distance run (typically covering 6-7miles in that time)
kayaking
Rock climbing
Tae Kwon Do Class
Swimming
Cycle ride
Hill walk with my X-vest

I compete in no drug tested sports but I am planning to enter (2nd time around) a gruelling endurance race held each July. my training is geared towards fitness for that event currently.

PB = 16hrs DNF (30minutes from the finish was asked to retire! GUTTED!!!)
Target time = 12hours (unfinished business LOL)
Race record = 8:10 (two of the current British Olympic triathlon squad)

Forgive me if this is a little long winded but though it best to out it all out there.
If there is anything I've not covered please ask.

Looking forward to being a part of the community and looking for ward to hearing from you all.

Thank you.

Hello;

You can't ask any of this here, please edit this post or you will be banned....

2nd, since you have not learned about AAS, you shouldn't be using AAS. Period.

The training forum would be a great place for you to get a better idea of how to increase you performance in your competitions...

OK, sorry if I have caused offense to anybody.

I left the weights room and switch to calisthenics a few years ago now and have had better results with less joint soreness.
so my weight training consists of exercises such as hand stand press ups, pull ups, dips etc
I use reverse pyramid supersets (hope that is the right terminology) eg.
three finger tip push up with X-vest
finger tips push up with X-vest
2 knuckle push up with X-vest
Knuckles push up with X-vest
straight push up with X-vest
three finger tip push up
finger tips push up with
2 knuckle push up with
Knuckles push up with
straight push up with
from the knees push up

all done to failure

2 circuits of each exercise is done with X-vest then a second set of each without.

what do I need to take out? everything in red?
ive been registered for all of 15 minutes I do not want to get banned.

Thanks steve,

by current BF is so high because I've been very lazy over the last couple of months.
I'll not bore you with excuses of why.

i am very fortunate that i have a high metabolism (ecto-morph body type) and in spite of my sedentary behavior of late my weight has remained constant albeit the composition has changed a little.

Am I incorrect in thinking that steroids can improve CV performance?
Are there other alternatives that would better suit my goals?
HGH?
EQ?
M1T?

please forgive my ignorance i'm just starting to learn about all this.

Re my current weight. I thought that was about average?
I'm medium build
40 chest
32 waist

Top Bottom
