newbie advice needed

hi everyone, i am a noob to this site and wanted to get some advice.

i am 40 yrs. old, 6'5" 380 lbs. (not muscle, fat lol) and want to lose some major weight.

i was a big fat pig in 2002 also (34 yrs old and about 400 lbs.), but went on a major diet and workout plan. i got down to 260 lbs. in one year (was in pretty damn good shape at 260 lbs.). in late 2003, i was involved in a major motorcycle accident which included breaking my neck. well since then, i have ballooned back up from alot on inactivity and think i am ready to get back into the gym (but i still have some neck and shoulder pain).

in 2003, i did some experimenting with winstrol 50 tabs and it worked out phenominally but since then lost my gear contact :(

i want to get back into trying something else but have been out of the game for so long not sure what would be good for me. i definitely want to get back on a good diet and excersize program before going to supplements, but wanted to get some ideas. i have a large frame and the ability to lose weight pretty quickly. i dont neccessarily want to bulk up anymore, just want to get back into all of the clothes i bought back in 2003 (2xl shirts and sz 38 jeans) lol. would also like to up my libido (back when i was on the winny i could shoot a wad about 6 feet, my girlfriend loved it lol) since then my sex drive is waaaay down.

any help is appreciated. thanks in advance.

forget gear .. u need cardio .. a good diet .. and u can include a full body workout 3x a week imo .. u have along way to go before u need gear ..maybe some good supplements would help

^^^^^^^^^^ agreed

b/c you're so over weight you will actually lose weight alot quicker...diet and cardio is the key here..if you jump on any type of gear for your bf% you will NOT see results under all that fat...you need to drop your Bf% down alot...all you need is some self motivation and remember it will take time

at your weight your heart is already being over worked..imagine if you jump on something like clen that will work our heart rate even faster...thats a recipe for disaster

listen if you really need help post your diet and workout routine on here...take pictures and im sure some of the other brothers on here including myself will help you get on the right track and make progress

hurricane, i realize i need all that you mentioned. but in my post i included that i did not plan on doing anything before going on a strict diet and workout regimen. i just want to get some ideas so that i can map out the future and get my ass motivated.

also what dietary supplements do you suggest? i used to do alot of protein shake supplements and it seemed to help alot with my diet. i would eat a very strict diet about every 3 hours and my metabolism went crazy. i was losing about 30 lbs a month while gaining muscle mass with my workouts.

Idea:

Hire a QUALIFIED personal trainer. If you live in NJ I can refer you to the QUEEN of diet and training....

i would use a good multivitamin- dx 7(from protein factory) is excellent
good fat burner-lipoflame(from omega) is awesome
with all that extra weight u holding .. u could go a good balanceed diet .. like u said eating every 2 or 3 hrs in small portions .. u dont even need lo-carb/high protein with all that extra weight imo ..allthough that would work also no question

also .. lipoflame has mild stims in it .. so if u wish to stay away from those all 2gether .. nelson montana(sold on proteinfactory.com) offers a good stim-free fat burner ..i never tried it but i heard it works excellent

thanks for the advice, i will look into the multivitamin and lipoflame supplements. i plan on kickstarting the diet with hi protein/lo carb plan and eating religiously every 3 hrs (it worked really well last time i did it). i will also start a good cardio and core building plan before hitting the weightroom. i have mild concerns with weightlifting from my motorcycle wreck injuries. i now have a "trick" shoulder that has dislocated about 3 times since my accident. it seems to pop out of joint doing the simplest of things from brushing my hair to adjusting a chair.

i do have a buddy that owns a personal training studio that helped me out alot with workout routines and diet last time. i have the know-how and discipline for the diet plan, but will look him up for the workout routines so i dont have any re-injury to my shoulder.

thanks for the help....keep the ideas coming if you have any more... thanks again

Good luck, Bossman....you came to the right place

Well it's day six of my diet and I have dropped 8 lbs. woo hoo! I have ordered my lipoflame and dx7 multivitamin supps., should be here anyday now.

One question, when starting the lipoflame how many should I start out on???

After reading some of the posts of lipoflame, it looks like it gives some the jitters. I dont mind the jitters much, but I dont want to wig out..lol. On this diet, I find myself crashing some during the day with reduced calorie/carb intake, so I cant wait to get some lipoflame in me to level me out some.
