Newbie 5x5 question.

Ok, I'm about ready to head out for night two of my first 5x5 routine, and I'm looking over the whole workout and everything is self explainatory until I look down to the assistance work. When it shows 5x5 or 3x8 of (Pullups/Chins/Pulldowns) are they saying to do all three of those movements or just selct one and offer 3 seperate exercises to be able to change things up while running the 5x5 program?

no, that would kill your back to do all 3, just choose one, and this is your first 5x5? are you looking at the Dual factor or the Single factor? Do the single factor first then go to dual factor, even if you've been working out for a few years, if you've never seen anything like this before, choose single. Anddd if you know what you're doing then just don't mind my rambling about that lol
 
Here's how hardcore the 5x5 is: you're supposed to superset the pullups with the chins, then superset that with pulldowns. So it's a supersuperset, if you will.

j/k, of course. Just pick one and stick with it for the duration of the program as with the rest of the lifts.
