New sarms s4 log for the mma fighter - part 2

Well it's been a long time since I have logged anything on this site, or even checked it in a while. Things have gone very well since the last time I took S4 back in July/August. Those of you who kept up with my thread saw my gains in regards to strength and cardiovascular conditioning. Since then I have gone undefeated, I am ranked #1 in my weight division in the state (I will keep all of that info anonymous), and am looking to fight a new, bigger and stronger opponent in May.

For this reason, I will be taking another cycle of s4, and I will be logging all about it for everyone's entertainment. I will be dosing 30mg twice a day again, one before every work out (strength/conditioning in the morning, team training in the evening). Once again, I'm always open to advice, so please let me know what you guys think. Current supplements include:
-s4
-100% whey protein
-BCAA Aminos (xtend)
-Fish oil
-and a VERY CLEAN DIET (almost paleo, with some minor adjustments)

I will be posting more details later. Please let me know what you guys think. I started the cycle yesterday, so I will give some details on how my week is going in couple of days.

what's your target carb : protein : fat ratio?

When cutting weight (about 4 weeks out) i switch to 40% protein, 30% carb, 30% fat. In the offseason I do 30, 40, 30 (prot, carb, fat, respectively).
I don't eat any flour products, my carbs come from fruits and veggies (except potatoes, carrots, and bananas). I eat starchy/high glycemic carbs post workout (i.e., sweet potato, bananas, etc.) Ocassionally i'll eat ezekiel bread since it's made from sprouted grain. I eat lean protein for the most part, and my fats come from almonds, almond butter, EV olive oil, avocados, grass fed butter, fish oil, flaxseed mill.

Sorry for the long response

This guys last log was epic!

good luck on your fight bro.

Thank you Chem Wiz!! I'm training as hard as I can for a tough guy, I know this will all pay off. He's not ready for what I bring to the table, and I say that very humbly. He just doesn't train witht he same caliber of people that I do.

The cycle so far is going okay, I just started on Monday so any effects at this point would most likely be placebo. Anything in the next few weeks will be the real results. I expect increase in 1RM on my strength exercises (deadlift, bench, weighted pullups). I also expect my endurance and lactate threshold to increase. Wish we had the instrumentation to check that. I do, however, feel meaner, but I also believe that's because I'm gearing up for a fight and I tend to be more intense when that happens.

FYI, I added one more supplement to the list I stated in the prvious post. I added BCAA's for during my workout.
****At the end of the weekend I will write a detailed log of my training sessino for the week if you guys are interested, let me know if you want me to. ****

It's been a week since I began the cycle/training camp, and I now remember why I loved this **** so much!! I've never been too concerned with numbers in the weight room, I prefer to measure my strength indirectly by evaluating how strong I feel against my training partners. But I hit a PR on my deadlift yesterday that caught both my strenght coach and I completely by surprise. My best 1RM on deadlift was 320 (and I haven't max'd since sometime in Jan due to a back injury), and I got 345 twice yesterday!

Once again, placebo effect or not, I don't give a f***! I see results when I take this ****. I won't max out again until after my fight now to prevent overtraining. But that was def a confidence booster.

On the menu today: Anaerobic sled circuit at 11 a.m., NoGi bjj at 5. I might find the time to hit the pool in between if I'm lucky :)http://cdn-images.anabolicminds.com/smilies/smile.gif

The strength and conditioning program will now change since I'm a month out. I will not be lifting for strength (5 reps or less, 85% 1RM) or focusing on hypertrophy anymore. Now speed and anaerobic conditioning will play a larger role. I will also increase padwork/technique work, and my conditioning circuits will become harder leading up to the week before the fight; I will then taper the routine and recover the week of the fight.

I'm looking forward to this last month; the month before the fight is always the best IMO. I enjoy the grind, watching footage and developing a strategy, and preparing myself mentally. I'm also curious to see what the experience is like while taking s4 since I did not take it for my previous fights. As I get closer I may need some help in regards to dosing recommendations, especially the week of the fight. But we'll get to that as the time approaches.

Thanks for keeping up with the log guys. I always appreciate the advice and feedback! Also, I just got home from seeing "Your Highness," and if stupid humor is your thing, then this movie is right up your alley. I spent the entire time laughing my ass off. I def recommend it!
