For the SRT8 anyway, going by the prices for the 300C, Magnum, and Charger SRT8 models.

They should call them STR8, because that's all they're good for - going in a straight line.

I've said it many times before, but "Friends don't let friends drive MOPAR".

:eek2: i can't believe you said that.

Why not? The Penta-Star Corporation never had anything but big motors, flashy styling, and funny colors. Those '60s cars with the torsion bar front suspension were absolute pigs on the road. And after 1973, they didn't even have the cheap power advantage. Chrysler has always been crap.

had what...?

a 70's one...?

Mopar was never crap until after 73. Up till that time nothing could touch them in performance or looks. Cars like the GTX, RoadRunner, SuperBird (which still holds the nascar record for top speed I believe), challenger, baracuda, charger, aar cuda and challenger, etc. The torsion bar suspension was a solid piece of work as well.

This current Challenger is slated to get the big block hemi 425 cubic inches of motor. Stock it does 13 sec.

Apparently at the NAISA it was announced that the car is going into production and will have a mid 30's price tag.

I would like to see a slapstick auto in it as well and glad to hear they are not doing a v6 version.
