New case study...I'm going to enroll.

Hey Everyone.
Thought I would tell you about a new case study that I'm going to enroll in on Monday. It will be a study that monitors your drug levels on a bi-weekly bases. If they feel you need to take more than the usual does, then you will do this, untill they have determined that you are now getting the right amount of medication to fight the virus. They are hoping it will be a new way to treat those of us with HIV on a individual bases rather than a uniform dose. Well thats pretty much it for now, I will keep you informed if I get approval. Wish me luck...

Good luck babybodybuilder2.5. I'm in a drug study myself for an new NNRTI It's been great because I get great treatment. And it'll help out others on down the line if they approve it.

Just an update...finally got the News....I am now to healthy to be in the study. Ain't that some shit ....lol... Guess it's a good thing for me , but I really needed the study, so that I could get the free Lab work done on a regular basis. Those of you that are in the know...know what I'm talking about when it comes to the cost of lab work...I had to pay for this go round of test...nearly came in at $900.00....
Maybe somethnig else will come along.

Yep..I worked so hard getting healthy. Then only to have the government come along and take my Medicare away. Leaving me with no medical coverage. Which has made me look for other ways of getting my lab work done for free. I was hopefull that I would have gotten into the study, but all that is now gone...

You know that is such a good question. It saddens me to think that my country is so willing to help other countries with all thier problems, when they need to be helping thier own citizens. There are some that do die because they can not afford treatment. I had medical coverage untill my goverment decided that I was healthy. That's when they dropped me from our Medicare program. I was on it for over 13 years. Even though I still have HIV, I guess they think I no longer need coverage. Doesn't make any sense does it...!!!
