Those of you that are in the know...know what I'm talking about when it comes to the cost of lab work...I had to pay for this go round of test...nearly came in at $900.00....
Maybe somethnig else will come along.
Sticker shock!! Im glad I live in Europe and get free healthcare....

Yep..I worked so hard getting healthy. Then only to have the government come along and take my Medicare away. Leaving me with no medical coverage. Which has made me look for other ways of getting my lab work done for free. I was hopefull that I would have gotten into the study, but all that is now gone...

It seems outrageous that you should have to pay so much for what is ESSENTIAL medical care.... Do they just let people die over there if they can't afford the cost of treatment???

You know that is such a good question. It saddens me to think that my country is so willing to help other countries with all thier problems, when they need to be helping thier own citizens. There are some that do die because they can not afford treatment. I had medical coverage untill my goverment decided that I was healthy. That's when they dropped me from our Medicare program. I was on it for over 13 years. Even though I still have HIV, I guess they think I no longer need coverage. Doesn't make any sense does it...!!!Similar threads
