Just signed up today as my buddy and I have started getting back into the gym hard and he found this site. I have been working out consistently for the past 4 years but I have been lifting for about 8 years. I am 22, 5'11.5", 178lbs. I have always had a weight gaining issue, it is pretty much impossible for me, the heaviest ive been was 185. When I lift I lift hard and heavy with a good idea of what i'm doing. So I am looking at getting rid of excess fat, putting muscle on, and adding about 10-15lbs. I currently take nitro-tech, cell-tech, and I have NO2 any other tips would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Everyone here is going to tell you that muscletech products are garbage, and cell tech is full of sugar.

I would try to find a good casein protein for before bed, and something like ON whey for PWO. A good CEE or MCC creatine would be good also. How is your diet, have you tried consuming 4000-5000 calories a day to gain weight. Whats your training look like?

ya ive read that pretty much everyone feels muscletech products are trash but my personal experience with nitro and cell at least ive put on weight with them i dont know if thats due to the extra sugars or stuff they put in them...my diet i feel is rather healthy i generally buy low fat dressings and what not and i consume a ton of protein without shakes and i eat tons of veggies...about the sugar content of cell ive been told that you need the sugar in it to break the creatine down so your body can absorb it is this true or a bunch of crap? my training is once a day 5 - 7 times a week for about 1.5 - 2.5 hours a day isolating 1 or 2 body parts per day ie. chest & bis, back & tri, shoulder & general arms, legs abs

my diet consists of simple carbs in the morning when i wake up usually an apple or a grapefruit then 5 eggs 3 whites 2 yolks with yellow and red peppers and onion no cheese and a chicken breast for breakfast then lunch consists of a chicken quesadilla with onion or just the chicken itself then dinner consists of more veggies and more proteins like chicken or tuna or tilapia...i just moved out of the house so im on a poor college kid diet any tips on what to buy at an affordable price would be nice too thanks gentleman

oh ya as my in between snacks go i usually eat like a bowl of cottage cheese with black pepper or a hot dog or two or generally some cherries or some peppers with low fat humus oh also for breakfast i occassionaly have kashi cereal instead of the eggstravaganza as my roommate puts it ok i think that sums up what i eat everyday on the avg
