I think you'll enjoy the lighter work for a while but I often find that being under tension for that many reps starts to hurt my joints. Anthrax Invasion is going to bomb my sorry self for that comment.
 
G5.0, I spaced a little wider than normal, but by no means PL style. :)

And thanks for the encouragement on the deads. :worried: ;)
 
The new workout looks interesting, Nelms. Did you create this on your own or did you research this elsewhere?

Is nutrition going to change as well due to the change in load?
 
FBC, I used the principles from madcow's site (the 5x5 program). I also wanted to work on speed, so that is why I structured Wednesday the way it is. The exercise selection is to keep my shoulders in balance. :)
 
Hey, IP and I just wanted to let people know that our corporate firewall blocked the site this morning, and we are now forced to come in through the www.expertpcsupport.com website. It is very possible that we will show up some morning and no longer have access at ALL.

So, if that ever happens, you'll hear from us in June while we're in Ecuador, and then we'll be back to the States in early July.

Monday's workout: all sets for 10 reps

Squats: 135/205/245
Incline: 135/165/175
Lat PD: 105/120/135

Wednesday's workout: 6 sets of 3 for speed, except cleans, which we just played around with while relearning form. No bands.

Cleans: worked up to easy 225 triple.
Deadlift: 225 lbs.
Bent Row: 115 lbs. - probably a little too light
Bench Press: 145 lbs.
