Just wanted to know If I am doing these correctly. Sometimes it is easy to misunderstand people and would rather check to make sure I am doing these right.

I thought the best way to show this was through a diagram... Lol please excuse my poor MS Paint skills :D

Is this correct?

Thanks guys.

basically.... yes...i think..well thats how i do them at least...but i do them on a higher declinded bench.... so for me its more like \-o that... if that makes sense

hahaha thats funny nice drawing!!!!
yep thats the basic idea do mine in a low incline/decline as well no need to strain my sacrum its an ab exercise not a low back exercise

yes, that is how do them as well (on a more declined bench). I love when you start shaking doing those.

I thought I was the only one.
I shake like a bitch when I'm doing those.

Thanks guys... I was kind of under the impression that the angle of decline wouldn't matter too much with this exercise since you don't actually lay on the declined part of the bench. Was I mistaken?

Either way I did my first 5x5 of them today. Hit them nice and hard with just my bodyweight. First good ab workout I have had in a long time. I'm looking forward to adding some weight on soon and Killing that shit :)

LOL wnt2bbeast... Glad you liked my drawing dude! :D

I thought you were meant to take 5 seconds going up and fve seconds going down...

So you meant go down and hold for five then back up?

like i said i dont use a high incline..i would imagine you can use a heavier weight when using less of an inlcine so as long as youre hitting hard for those 5 sets and adding weight youll be fine
