How the hell do you shave your chest without itching like crazy all day and night?
It was fine the first time I shaved it, then the second and third time I got real bad razor burn and crazy ingrown hairs and the itching is driving me insane!
What can I do to stop this?
I've tried waxing, using an electric razor, and using all kinds of different regular razors, nothing helps.

How often do u shave? What kind of shaving cream do you use? Do u put anything on it after u get done?

BB, I've been shaving about every 3 days for the past 2 weeks, I use Colgate brand shaving cream for sensitive skin, but I havn't been putting anything on afterward.
What do you suggest?

harmonic, I tried Nair once for my legs, but it didn't work and the stench almost made me puke.

Yo, I always take a shower first....(loosens the hair)....and then shave in there. I always use shaving cream....and when I get out of the shower, I put cocoa butter on.

That is too often. I shave most body parts once a week. If you don't give it time to grow out a little before shaving again, you will get ingrown hairs.

what do you do for the itching in between shaving? By the second day, my shirt irritates the hell out of me from the cloth rubbing on the little hairs.

I'm used to it by now...I don't itch at all....

I just started shaving my chest a few weeks ago and I used some advice that someone gave me here..(sorry I forgot who to give them credit) Go to Osco/Jewel and look for this green aloe gel with Lidocaine in it...its actually goes by the name of Solarcaine (used for sunburns) but I found the generic one which was about half the price..anyway....the first time I shaved I just used shaving cream..I had a few nicks and some ingrown hairs...the next 2 times I shaved.. I put the solarcaine on got into the shower and then put shaving cream over the solarcaine and shaved in the shower......not 1 nick or ingrown hair.....this is the way I am doing it from now on...and thanks again to the bro that gave the advice about it a few weeks ago.. :-)

There is a shaving cream called Avino it is a bit more expensive than regular cream but its for very sensitive skin and it works great. Shave in the shower and puts lots of hot water on your chest this will open you pores and allow a closer shave.
