hi all
need some advice on a problem ive been having the last couple of weeks. To cut a long story short, i fallen for my friends ex girlfriend. She is really beautiful and the both of us really, really like each other. We get on so well and when we go out together, we always have the best time. My friend of 13 years went out with her for 3 or so years about 2 years ago. She fucked him over, then tried to get back with him and he told her to get stuffed. So anyway...hes over her completely..hates her in fact. He's had a nice girlfireind for over a year now and is very happy in the relationship.
So when me and his ex started getting serious i had to tell him, just top make sure, even though i thought he wouldnt really care.
Anyway...he chucked a major shit, saying friends dont do that shit, and i have to choose between him or his ex. So last week after a few confrontations i choose him over the ex. She understood...but know im having second thoughts...and in the mean time im draggin her along. Its not fair for anyone to do this. So now im gonna really think about it and this weekend im gonna give a definite decision...so nothing is dragged on anymore.
I cant believe my friend would be like this. I understand him not wanting to bring her back into his life, but im not really. He's fully like "this shit is against my morals, and if someone cant live by my morals then they can get stuffed"..or so to speak. Surely if he was my best friend he would stick by me anyway. He knows how highly i think of him, and by choosing her over him isnt saying i dont want him as a friend...
Im only 22 so this sort of shit is all a bit to serious for me. Its giving me some serious guilt problems. If anyone has some advice i would really really appreciate it.
