Hi, Im very knowlegable when it comes to male bodybuilding but for females I am not. My girl wants to start working out with me so I'll give you her info and what she is looking to do.

25 years old 5"3 110lbs, athletic backround
She basically wants a natural fit look and also health purposes. She does not want to go the bodybuilding route, more of a bikini look. She has natural breasts and even though it might sound dumb to ask I do not know if her working out her chest will mess with this, ive also heard incline bench is good for girls.

Anyways I have come up with a simple easy routine for her but wanted any advice at all, thanks for your time and help.

I was thinking
Monday - 20 mins cardio
3x3 lateral shoulder raises
3x3 military press
Planking Ab routine
20 mins step master

Tuesday - 20 mins cardio
3x3 seated curls
3x3 tricep rope
3x3 cable curls
3x3 dips

Thurday - 20 mins cardio
3x3 squats
3x3 lying curls
3x3 butt blaster
Ab medicine ball workout
20 mins step master

Friday - 30 mins treadmill cardio
30 mins bike cardio
ab rope routine
20 mins olyptical

any advice would help

It all looks good to me but I'm not a pro. So hopefully someone will stop by to check it over.

Good luck with the training it's great that your girls jumping onboard :)

You said she was athletic, but has she worked out with weights before. When starting out women can be overwhelmed with heavy weights and 4-5 day/week routines. If 3X3 means 3 sets of 3 reps I would think 8-15 reps would be a much better starting point. If she enjoys it she will have plenty of time to work up to heavier weight. I would also begin with 2-3 days a week. Within a month or two you will know if she enjoys it and can increase the frequency and volume of her workouts.

Women also tend to get bored with the same old workout. We like to change routines often. My husband would do the same routine forever if I didn't get him to change it up.

Most importantly when getting a gf into the gym is to make sure she enjoys it. Also, get her on elite to ask questions. Women tend to take exercise advice better from other women.

Biking competitors I know lift just like the bber counterparts. The meal plan is the difference.
