I was planning on doing needsize's ab routine. Today was my first time doing it with a decent weight and it kept hurting in my back, getting worse each set. So it seems the only ab excercise that isn't a problem for me is cable crunches. What kind of routine should I do using those?
I was thinking maybe 5x10 -or- 2x10 straight, 2x10 to the left, 2x10 to the right?
On a related note, on monday I did back/tri and it was my first time deadlifting with a decent weight. The next day my abs were sore. This doesn't mean I'm doing em wrong, right?
I'm assuming both are due to weak abs?
