Need help

Okay, you are looking retty good here bro with the diet. I would just add another 1/2 cup of brown rice or sweet potatoe to your 3 PM meal.

And go with 1 cup of cottage cheese instead of 1/2 cup before bed. That'll up the protein and calories a bit and still remain somewhat conservative on the carbs. It's enough to increase your weight for a bit.

A "really lean" 190? Like 6% BF is realy lean. Or 8% or 10%?

At 6ft 200lbs you wouldn't by any means look totally massive, you would look thick and solid.

If your goal is 185-190 lean, I'd just bulk hardcore for 6 months, do a cycle of Beastdrol at th beginning of the 7th month, while still on bulk. Get through PCT, and start your cutting fo rnext summer. Go with katanadrol the last 4 weeks of your cut. You will have surpassed your goal weight and look better than you would have imagined. 1 years time is all it takes.

If you take the "stay lean and try and get big" will take twice as long.

As once you get to that size, you will want more. It's addicting.

So, there is my suggestion. Bulk like a mad man, reach 210 lbs, and cut to a lean 185-195.

good advice here from a good bro

hey dabuff what bf% do you think im at? I know you said 10% and im wondering if thats true for your avi then I must be at least 9%, single digits

At 5'8' 205 10%bf 3000 calories would increase my weight significantly. In order to gain weight you have to take in more calories than your body burns in a day, so as your body is already telling you that 3000 cal is not enough you should bump your caloric intake accordingly. While your diet is clean it lacks enough carbs to help facilitate weight gain. My guess is that the amount of carbs you're taking is keeping your body at maintainece level. Carb's have a muscle sparing effect on the body which makes them the best friend for any person who is seeking to increase their muscle mass. Muscle is the only tissue in the body that metablizes fat which means that the more muscle you have the more effiecient your body becomes at burning fat. Therefore in regards to your fear of getting fat while increasing your caloric intake, what little fat you may acquire along the way will easily be metabolized by the additional muscle that you will add to your frame once you start dieting.

P.S. - it wouldn't hurt to throw some flax or fish oil in there as well.

Magus

Yeah, you look less than 10%. But definitely not like 8% though from what I can see in the avi. I was a little over 10% in that pic, but under 11%.

Just want to give a shout out to protein factory's custom mixes since we're on the subject of getting EFA's in the diet. You can easily and tastily (that a word?) get your good fats in your diet by making a custom mix that would be something like 60-70% aussie caseinate and EFA powder. Makes a fantastic slow digesting shake.

I like some creatine and glutamine in my mix but thats just personal preference as I don't like to supplement creatine alone.
