I have some questions for all you ectomorphic people. Approximately how many calories do you consumer a day? How long have you been training? How many calories did you increase when you began training? And what type of supplements do you use (I leaning towards Whey Isolate Protein Powder, but I'm not sure if I should use Creatine and/or Glutamine)? And also, what is the lag time between the time you have breakfast to the time you do weight lift?
I'm an eighteen year old university student and I have decided to begin strength training; but, I am not certain about how much I should eat and what I should eat *I should start taking kinesiology courses*... I know I should allocate my meals exceeding (say 5 to 6 meal per day) the three usual servings because of my rapid metabolism... From a little research at some websites, some said that I should consume more carbs, proteins, and moderate unsaturated fat (Being insulin resistant kind of sucks)... Can someone give me a relative ratio? How about cardio workouts, should I even touch them?
