What is the best diet for someone looking to bulk up?

I'm currently 22 years old and 148 pounds, and I would like to bulk up more. What is a good diet for someone who's new to bulking up and new to weight training? Do you think I should just focus On getting a lot of protein, or do you think that I should focus on getting more grams of carbs?
 
I love me some chicken and brown rice. Good carbs and good protein, and you can eat a lot of it.
 
Real food is always best. Make sure you're food prepping two or three times a week. Always have food ready. When you feel hungry, eat.
