Well,

Last weekend I was doing leg presses and in the transition from bringing the weight down to pushing up.. I heard and felt this awful noise down to the left of my midsection. Went to the hospital and was told my left groin was Torn

Has anyone here had this injury and what should I expect? Training? Recovery?

Thanks...

also on cycle of prop 100mg/ed and anavar 100mg/ed.

Dang bro, really sorry to hear that. The worse news is probably that it will take a few solid months to recover from a tear like that completely.

I strained one of my groins last summer , just a mild strain, and it was sore and touchy for about a month, sometimes I can feel it if I push it too hard, but other than that its alright. Just gotta give tears time to heal, that is the only thing I find that helps at all. Time and advil. Gluck bro

Does taking any gear help...?? Just curious..I know that it is going to take some time..I am still going to train my uppped body and continue to ice and elevate my leg 4 to 5 times a week...

I have had two "torn" groins from hockey(goalie) I finally couldn't stand it and went for physical therapy. 12 weeks of heat, a machine that shoots a steroid up into the groins(ionto stim), and then all sorts of fun exercises, followed by ice packs for 15 minutes. Insurance paid for all with referral from the doctor. Still doing the rehab on my own for the last five months. I feel for you bro.

I wanna add something to this post, cause I know a guy from my gym that did this...... When doing Leg Presses, you gotta make sure you got enough room when your bring your Legs down in the movement..... In other words, you can't have your Torso too far foward, and your legs bunch up the abdomen when you bring the weight down..... This puts ALOT of strain on the intestines/diaphram area..... I hope you guys can picture what I'm talking about, cause doing heavy leg presses, and straining when youre in that position can cause ALOT OF PROBLEMS..... Be Carefull.....

Chondroitin Sulfate and glutimine (some studies so that glutimine helps with recovery regardless of the type) will help with recovery

As for AAS I dont believe they effect ligaments..some say it effects them in a negitive way but i think that's from the growth of the muscles.

HGH also helps in ligament recovery
