OK, im trying to install a wireless router to use DSL on both my computers. Now, im trying to install the base station, but it says it can't recognize my modem because it my be blocked by a firewall.
so i have two questions...
1. what is a firewall?
2. how can i disable it?
Is it possible to be using a firewall w/out knowing it? Im obviously not very computer literate but id appreciate any help. This is one of the most frustrating experiences of my life
