Nearly beat a man's ass at Wal-Mart yesterday. Was I wrong?

I've intervened when I've seen that happening a few times, but I've never been physical. I quit when I did it once with a woman who was shitting all over her kid and hitting him. I told her she was acting very bad. But you know what? The kid got scared and ran to her and hugged her. Goes to show you how used to that kind of treatment a kid can get. No wonder people grow up fucked in the head.

Dogballs...... That's what I was thinking... maybe it's best that I don't... I don't really know. I don't want to make things worse... but DAMNIT! If he just would have taken one shot. Oh well... at least the man will be looked into by the Police.

Vixenbabe... I will also on occassion spank my children. Depending on the "crime". But to smack one of them in the face!?!? What the hell is that? You are very right... he shouldn't have kids... and the man has 3. I feel so sorry for those girls...

I definately look forward to seeing the man again.

Hey BBV,

You were definitely doing the right thing. While you may not have done it in the best of way's, I'm not going to tell you that what you did was wrong. If the mother doesn't stand up for her own daughter, then she is probably bein abused at home herself. As for the daughter's be glad that they will have your image in their head's for life. The nice stranger who helped me avoid a beating. That is actions I consider worthy of a humanitarian award, someone who has the courage to approach someone completely unknown to them and make it known that those action's won't be tolerated by society.

I almost did the same thing, a father was telling his child in a loud voice to shut up and act his age - the kid was no more than 4, he was acting his age - and the father knew better than to raise a hand to his child in public. I should have walked over and said something but I didn't. If a hand would have been raised, my ass would have been on his like white on rice! Any kind of abuse is totally intolerable.

And let me know what you find about a Child Avocacy Center in your area.

~p~

same thing

I've had done the same thing bro.

I'm a man married recently to a lady with a 6, almost 7 year old daughter. She lights up my life. Her daddy molested her for 4 years. First time I saw him and I knew he was going to be in this nightspot and thats why I stopped by. He had shaved her legs the weekend before when his parents had grandparents visitation. I walked in, spotted him and without hesitation walked up and knocked the shit out of him followed by 5 or 6 more licks when he hit the floor. Yep they took me to jail and I was out in one hour, best hour i've spent my entire life.

TriIdiot... I hear you. Like an abused wife who cries when the cops haul her asshole husband off to jail (I know, because I used to be the cop arresting them). I can't explain it... it just breaks my heart that it's true.

Spentagn... thank you.

uNowho... thanks as always. I always feel like shit when I don't at least say something. But I see things so often that shouldn't happen. Earlier, when I was in the store, I saw some punk ass looking white trash kid, with his whore-lookin' white trash girlfriend... and they had a beautiful girl in the cart they were pushing... the girl was dirty, and they reeked of cigarette smoke. I heard the mom tell the girl "I told you, you don't get Christmas this year. Santa is broke."

Of course, in the cart were two cases of beer, and a few cartons of cigarettes. Nah... they can't afford stuff for their kid.. but they can buy shit for themselves, and cigarettes to poison their child...

So I was already in a bad mood... seeing the dad do that to his daughter simply pushed me over the edge.

I'm truly surprised that I wasn't more violent than I was.

Now THAT fuckin' rocks, champ. Musice to my ears!

BBV,

here's my take;i would bet mucho $$$'s that the little girl involved will think about the NICE MAN who HELPED her at Walmart, for a long time coming...if the abuse continues for this little girl, your actions have taught her that she has alternatives.if you have kids of your own, then you know that they understand EVERYTHING,and this case is no exception.what you did is RIGHT;if you ignore this type of situation, you are IGNORANT AND HEARTLESS...the fact that you have a HEART and beleive in the RIGHT thing to do...makes you a WINNER in my book.beleive me when i tell you...that this man at Walmart whom you confronted will think TWICE before acting out like that again...and will always look over his shoulder just in case BBV or someone else is watching...it's called making a DIFFERENCE...and although we can't stop the world from being corrupt...each contribution helps in some way or another.GOOD WORK my friend.

Thank you, my friend. I have 3 children of my own... and they are my life. They are my everything. Without them, I don't think I'd have any direction.

I hope I did cause a little bit of anxiety in the man. I do hope he looks over his shoulder the next time he's being a "big tough man" and smackin' around a little girl.

And I do hope I was a positive image in the eyes of his girls... rather than a threat to their daddy. They are so impressionable... and I wasn't trying to be negative. I wish I would have had more time before it was broken up, so I could have kneeled down in front of the girl, and told her I was sorry, and that I just didn't think it was right for a dad to hit his little girl.

I REALLY want to see the man again...
