NCAA Testing rules

does anyone know for sure if they r allowed to come to a school more than once a semester to test? they came too my school about a week ago, and a lot of the guys r saying that they can't come again this semester. i just wanted to clear this up before i start my next cycle, and to let my teamates know if it is ok to start now as well.

They come whenever they want. That is why it is random. Also you are probably closing in on spring ball so they might come then.

Depends what division. If its D3 or D2 they probably wont. If it;s D1 they might but testing is done randomly. If they already came and tested chances are they wont. Are you in off season?

actually in track there is a indoor and a outdoor season and the indoor is ending in 4 weeks, then outdoor is from march till the end of may. so i guess my season is just beginning to start.(indoor is a lot shorter than outdoor.)

Answer for the NAIA question. My friend played football for an NAIA team. There was no chance for being caught. He told me a lot of the guys on the team were on deca.

I'm lucky becase basketball is rarely tested for performance enhancing agents. If I ever got tested I would most likely would be tested for stuff like weed.

I ran track in 1991. The only time we were tested was by the school. They made it sound like a big deal, but I figured they took the samples and trashed them. Just trying to scare us a little.

Now during conference and national meets it is a different story. The usually test the top 6 finishers. But then again test are expensive, so I am pretty sure that they will test the shot putters for anabolics and some of the others for speed. But there is no way they are actually testing the top 6 from all different events. It is a money thing.
