Natural test levels

Hey folks... bare with me on this... pretty bummed out right now... as some of you might remember, a while back I posted up bloodwork results.... my last cycle ended early last December... did PCT for 6 weeks (HCG + Nolvadex + Adex)... apparently the PCT wasn't effective because:

After 1st PCT:
LH <0.7L Reference 1.5-9.3
FSH <0.7L Reference 1.6-8.0
Total Test 152 Reference 260-1000
Free Test 17.8 Reference 50.0-210.0

So I did a 2nd PCT for aobut 4 weeks (HCG + Clomid + Nolvadex + AIFM) - I thought I was feeling a little better.... got tested again:

LH is now normal: 1.9 Reference 1.5 - 9.3
FSH is now normal: 7.7 Reference 1.6 - 8.0

However, my test levels are lower than before!
Total Test 133 (Reference 260-1000)
Free Test 14.6 (Reference 50.0 - 210.)

What gives?? I'm a little nervous now because I started my current cycle right after I got tested (but before I got my results)... Will this cycle permanently screw up my nat test levels? Will I ever be able to recover? Anyone with some feedback, greatly appreciated!

How long after PCT the first time did you have the test done and as well for the second PCT?

The good news is that your FSH and LH went up. When they do not recover your natural test will not.
Currently, my FSH and LH are low. I had blood taken today. If the numbers do not go up I am getting an MRI to check for a brain tumor.
My test levels have been getting lower and lower every test. The tests started in September of last year.
After your cycle is done I would check your levels again and if they are bad go see and Endo.

Good question... for the first PCT, I got tested about a week after I finished I'd say... same thing for the second PCT... about a week or so after... probably a little too soon, but still after a 6 week PCT, shouldn't test levels have started to climb?

Im a big beleiver in protecting HPTA function throughout the cycle by intermittantly adding in clomid for a period of time or HCG.
obviously for you thats information you could have used before...sorry bro


to really kick HPTA function into high gear try utilizing some OTC things like Avena sativa, ZMA, tribulous, Eurycoma longfolia. I am a testament to the fact these things work and work well.

or you could just bridge with low dose test and primo and never come off....seems to work for some guys...

that's what I was thinking about the FSH and LH...so maybe there's hope... my doctor knows about my AAS history....he just got done telling me "I told you so!"

I have been working with one for a little over a month.
We will see what happens when the results come in.
With my luck my numbers will increase slightly and she will say "everything seems fine". If that is the case I am done with the Dr's. It has been a long and expensive process.

I've never tried using HCG or clomid during a cycle, but that's an interesting point.... I may try it this time around...

Regarding the other OTC stuff.... I've always been a strong supporter of them, but I've also been sorely disappointed by alot of products.... I've taken tribulus, avena sativa, and eurycoma before...especially during this period of time when my test levels were practically zero! They didn't help obviously... I do like a product called unleashed from protein factory...it has avena along with other substances....it's supposed to lower shbg....I usually can feel it working

What exactly did your last cycle and PCT look like?

Last cycle, which ended in December, was test eth (10 weeks) and deca (8 weeks)...

1st PCT - 1 week after last test shot:
Wks 1-3 HCG 1,500 iu 3x's / wk
Wks 1-4 Liquidex
Wks 1-6 Nolvadex 20mg ED

2nd PCT - 3 months later
Wks 1-3 HCG 500 iu ED
Wks 1-4 AIFM
Wks 1-5 Nolva 20mg ED
Wks 1-3 Clomid 50mg ED

Ok, I'm hijacking my own thread *grin*

Just been thinking.... if my LH is pretty much back to normal and FSH is in range, why would my natural test levels be low??
