Deputy Minister of Culture of Costa Rica, Karina Bolaños, was removed from his post after broadcast on YouTube a video that appears in lingerie intimate sending a message to a lover, informed the holder of the Portfolio, Manuel Obregon.
"While the reports that have circulated are strictly related to the privacy of Bolaños, not his work as a public official, removal from office will be for her to deal with this case from the private sector," says a brief statement.
The same document indicates that the removal from office was formalized in a decree signed by President Laura Chinchilla.
In the video, the former official now appears on a bed in underwear, and tells a lover she calls "Pequis" which is not used to doing that sort of thing, but he does because he loves him.

After reaching the website, in ways that are unknown, the video spread quickly through social networks and added a new scandal to the government of President Laura Chinchilla, who experiences a precipitous drop in popularity.
A survey released this Monday said that 75% of Costa Ricans considered "corrupt" government of Chinchilla and 53% have an unfavorable opinion of the work done by the president.
Bolaños is the wife of Deputy liberationist by Heredia, Victor Hugo Viquez, who took leave for three days, as confirmed by Congress. The couple would be separated, amid allegations of family violence.

In a nutshell, she is part of the secretary of youth and culture, she is married and the video was made to her lover not husband, it also seems some dude has a restraining order against her due to harassment/stalking, she claims she was extorted for over a year for the video and she stopped paying so they leaked it, she got removed from her position and CR people are in an uproar about it, stating there are a bunch of corrupt politicians who openly commit crimes and havent been fired and she got fired over something personal like this, there's also a bunch of stupid women taking pics in their bra's saying they are like her (I am Karina, We are all Karina)

Fucking ridiculous she wasnt fired just because of the tape, also because of the restraining order, she is an overall poor example to young boys and girls and I agree with her getting her ass handed to her... she's not a fucking Kardashian she's a public figure.
