Alright, have not listened to this guy on his own before, really enjoyed his song "New York State of Mind"... Now, what I'm looking to do is compile a raw and madman MP3 compilation to accompany my insane training for my upcoming cycle....any suggestions are welcome, especially good songs by Nas fitting the category of fast paced, gutteral, almost 'evil sounding' music is a poor but close enough way to describe it. Some other examples of this music would be old dirty bastard's Return To the 36 Chambers, Gravediggaz 6 Feet Deep song 13 "Graveyard Chamber" and WuTang 36 chambers "Mystery of Chessboxin' number 6 with ODB and 13 with inspectah deck....good shit....shit that gets your blood and testosterone flowing like crazy.

What do you suggest?

Remedy C.D.- Everything is Real..... "big johns on a cycle of steroids..." haha...beautiful.

you really love your edgy dark hiphop, brings me back to when I use to listen to hiphop exclusively. Many of my friends actually freestyle in NYC and two of them have a CD out. Personally I am back to all hard core gym music, tool, godsmack, fear factory

gravediggaz were hot back in the day

I am not sure if I can give you exactly what you want but check out Rackim, OC, Pete Rock n Cl smooth, Lords of the Underground,
Lost Boyz (first album), Redman, Company Flow (youll like this flow), Camron

Nas Illmatic was the best hip hop album ever in my opinion.

I can't seem to get anyone to give me their opinions on Nappy Roots debut album. I like a wide variety of hip hop with southern rap such as outkast, goodie mob, etc. being at the top of the list. nappy roots are from kentucky and sound really similar. If you guys have time, download the song 'blowin trees' and tell me what you think. thanks.

Nas is the shit. Most talented lyricist around in my opinion. Just listen to that guy flow in his songs. Esco the Boss 4 ever.

How about the Westside Connection "Gangstas Make The World Go Round"

Here's an album that I've always liked:

NWA - Niggaz 4 Life

not sure if you like this type of rap but if you do let me know and I'll post the good songs from this album.

Here's a few misc. songs that I currently listen to while working out:

Dogg Pound - What would you do
Ice Cube - Ghetto Bird
DMX, Sean Paul & Mr. Vegas - Top Shotter
Ice Cube - What can I do (remix)
Ice Cube - Natural born killaz (live)
