This sounds like a classic nigerian or russian scam. These 419 scammers are so common now, they hit you with their tales of hardship or that you've won some mystical lottery that you never entered. They keep you on the string for months and keep getting you to send them money to which you never recieve anything in return. More than likely this is a russian guy or a nigerian guy that is posting those pictures of the russian hottie and then going to string along another "american chump". Don't believe me?? Check out

Noone seems to have mentioned anything about this, so I don't know if it is assumed, or noone saw or heard the scoop on it that I did, but:
This is probably a scam. these chicks have been around forever. they befriend you via net, then tell a under-the-table tale and how they can get out, but with some financial help from you. Once money is sent, the men never hear from them.
