MySpace.com - who's on this thing?

Don't know much about it, I remember seeing some threads here in the past about it but I never really paid attention. Started browsing it and even made a quick profile, but it looks kinda pathetic compared to some of these fancy ones, and my friend list of a whopping 1 (some guy named Tom?) is a little anemic.

Anyone here on it and use it? Worth it or a waste of time? Not too interested in internet dating anymore, just met crazies in the past, but hey I'll try anything once (maybe even twice...)

i've met a few people off there, but that hasn't been worth much at this point. i use it primarily to keep a blog. imo, a simple profile is better. a long and busy page with lots of moving images and typical crap (i.e. surveys, videos playing, etc.) is annoying and poor. put some interesting content on there and that's all i need. my page is still completely stock, because i'm not 15. or too lazy. either one.

I opened an account on there just to check out a friends myspace page, he absolutely loves it, mainly just to keep in touch with friends, but it was amazing to see how many people are on there that I knew. I dont think I will ever take the time to put my page together or anything, but I can see how some people like it.

You'll get that any free site since it attracts teenagers. That being said, I don't understand why everyone focuses on internet child predators and the dangers of internet dating. Your child is more at risk from your pedophile neighbor or while at the mall than chatting with some 40 year old perv claiming to be 19 who lives five hundred miles away. Like everything, moniter your kids and educate them. The same women who went to the club last weekend, met a stranger, and went to an "after hours" at his house having known him an hour will comment how she's afraid of meeting a serial killer on the internet.

HA HA HA! LMAO. I have a funny picture of some kids dressed as Napoleon but it's saved on my computer, I tried adding it to my gallery but the page always goes blank when I try to add new photos.
