Well apprently im 16% bf and i weight 124lbs.

The trainer says.. stop body building and start skipping. He wrote me a skipping program.

Said i could still use the machines.. but do 50 reps at a lower weight

Shadow, sassy.. your thoughs :rolleyes:

I am to eat 5 meals a day, one consists of yogurt and the other has gratefruit..

I stopped reading it after those 2
 
He needs to:

1- learn how to do a bf test

2 - learn how to write a diet



CC - you look INCREDIBLE.......it would be a shame to destroy what you have worked so very hard to acheive.....

As soon as i saw the diet i zoned out..

I'm not going to do 50 reps at one machine in one stretch.. that is crazy..

LOL.. shadow your comment reminded me of a comment my training partner got at a club talking to a HUGE guy. We were discussing the comp in July and he makes the comment.. women are supposed to be Soft..... bwhahah.. I left mid sentence.. total turnoff.... goodbye.

I'm afraid I'd have to look damn hard to find 16% bf on you CC.

I guess especially when you are making rapid progress like you are, you need to clearly look at what you are trying to accomplish. Have you achieved what you set out to do or are you still pursuing? Time to adjust your goals to a maintenance or what?

Did you tell this guy what you want to accomplish? If he's telling you to seriously jack up the reps then he's trying to tell you to move away from a weight training program and more into some sort of cardio deal thingy. Therefore I guess he's assuming you don't want a "bodybuilding look" but want something less muscular or something?

You have tons of people on this baord that think you look AWESOME from eating 2 jars of PB a day - you'd look like a rag doll if you ate grapefruit as a meal. Your BF is WAY lower than that. Should have showed him your ass to shut him the ^%&* up.

If I looked like you I would barely ever wear clothes - I would dance around my house looking in the mirrors all day long :dance2:

I used to have the BEST female trainer ever.....Gosh, I wish she lived in California.....sigh.....she was the best :heart:
 
Your correct.. it was something he assumed all on his own. i said i was happy with ym apprerance and gave him my work out.. a revised shadow project.

He said that is way too much for a girl to be doing. and offered em the jump rope plan.. I actually said.. to him.. "U know, the olny ppl i see skipping are pretty chubby.. do u really think that is a good idea for me?" (I was being silly)

The food log he told me to follow is this - one day example provided;

BR - 1 cup oatmeal and 1 cup cottage cheese
snake 1 fruit green apple or a gratefruit
Lunch 1 cup whole whaet pasta and 4 ounce chicken breast
Snake 1 cup of low fat yogurt
dinner salad -vingear dressing with a can of tuna

He crossed off the last meal and said i didnt need it. All this after i told him that as it is i have trouble maintaining my weight..

If i ate according to this guide.. there would be no more me.. i would be freakin invisble..

And no i don't take aything he said seriously.

He even said.. when u get down your body fat a bit lower you will lose your period.. I said i haven't had one in quite a few months.. he still went on... :worried:

Part of me would want to have him do the macro breakdown, tell me the point of this, and also why he would assume I want to get my bodyfat down if he still doesn't seem to understand what I'm looking for. The other side of me would really just want to knee him in the nuts and walk away rolling my eyes.

Uh Skittles - your right about one thing. If CC looked any better I'd never get any work done but anyone that's seen your gallery would put you in the same league.

My goal is to to get down around the same BF% as CC. She looks awesome & her pic's have been really motivating for me :)

He's trying to kill you CC - tell him to F*** OFF! I've only ever dated one girl with a body as close to perfect as yours. I'm not a woman or an expert but I don't think your BF so low you lose your period is a healthy thing (IMO).

BTW - I originally sent K to just you and skittles for looking great then realized I should recognize all the women on this thread for either the great job they do on their bodies or the great posts they make to this board.

Eat whatever the hell you want CC - you look amazing! (get your car yet?)

That's very sad. I hope to have children someday and I know I'd a proud and supportive father. Why have children if you're so self absorbed that the world revolves around you?

My mother was pretty bad that way too..somehow though i decided she was just jealous.. wish ym sister ended up the same way.. she has bulimia/anorexia :(

Have any of you read "My Mother, Myself"????? It's a very good book -- old, but very enlightening...... I found it really helpful....

I guess my question to you CC is what exactly is your goal at this point? What are you trying to achieve?

My general comments are that its an awesome pursuit to achieve something like a competition bodyfat w/ muscle, but when I pursued that, it lasted for all of about 2 days. After that you go back to "normal" life and your bodyfat goes up to something that is maintainable until you might choose to go after another comp, have a photo shoot or whatever. There are a handful of people who can naturally and healthfully maintain extremely low bodyfat levels (below 12%), however this generally not a healthy goal to go after and seek to maintain for extended periods of time.

And no it also isn't good to go extended periods of time w/o your period as a result of extremely low bodyfat. Again, there is that small percentage of women who have sporadic menstrual cycles and have not suffered from it, but there's plenty of documentation about the 'female athlete triad' (e.g. http://www.aafp.org/afp/20000601/3357.html) and the consequences of an interrupted menstrual cycle over long periods of time, calcium absorption & associated osteoporosis.

And I'm not saying anything about your goals or where you are now CC -- I'm just throwing in check on the bodyfat thing. Low bf is awesome, but there's a maintenance level that should be kept in mind for the longer term.
