My review of Amsterdam

Just spent a week there, it was fun but the city is kind of gross. I was there with my girlfriend so I didn't get a chance to do some of the things I wanted to do (smoke a big fattie and go check out hookers in the red light lol).

Not much to do besides ride bikes around, check out some museums and the food absolutely sucked everywhere. Our best meals were from takeout places which tells you a lot. Definitely expensive too. Getting around on public transit was quick and easy though, and the trains were great.

It rained every god damned day, which was also annoying. I don't know how those people do it with rain 300 days a year, I would slit my wrists. We had decent weather two days out of eight but it still rained on those days for an hour or two.

We rode to the beach one day about 25km away (Zandvoort), very pretty and cool that they have lounges right on the sand where you can have a drink and just lie around for the afternoon.

We went to Brussels for a day - gorgeous city and very cool to see all of the old buildings and the seat of the EU parliament. And let me tell you the women in Belgium are ridiculously hot - it's probably like DC with all the young Eurohotties working for the government. I had neck strain when I left.

And yes, we did walk through the red light. Kind of trashy but there were some very hawt hookers in the windows. Guys just walk up, flash some cash and go get a "suck and fuck" for 50 euro - apparently they take care of business in 15 minutes. And they have fatties and trannies in certain areas if you're into that. Didn't hit a "coffeeshop" but they were everywhere, sometimes right next to each other. It reeked like weed most places. Very cool attitude from most people, laid back and chill.

Nice thing was people speak English there as well so I didn't have to struggle through Dutch.

Living in Amsterdam, I learned.......

There is no such thing as 'bad' weather; there are only poor clothing choices.

wait...you went to amsterdam and didn't smoke weed or bang hookers?
lmfao

might as well have not went.

your review sucks

also the clubs there are pretty fuckin cool

Hey man I saw some cool paintings and dutch pottery.

Yeah we went to Sugar Factory after trying to get into Jimmy Woo (guest list and members only or so the girl told us - we probably weren't cool enough lol). It was chill because it was industry night but some great acid jazz playing.

We planned to have a weed session but my girlfriend got sick from getting drenched in the stupid rain on our bikes.

One guy we met told me on the side that the hottest girls in the red light were usually trannies.

no weed, no shrooms? i wouldnt bang a filthy cun dumpster either so we are on the same page there, but no drugs? come on dude, you flew to europa to see art?

trust me, you would. first of all half of them look like supermodels.
secondly, they're cleaner than half of the sluts you meet at a bar/club in the US because they're highly regulated and get tested all the time.

I lived in Amsterdam for three years.

If you don't know where you are going in the tourist towns, you won't get a decent meal out in a restaurant, but there are some AMAZING ones.

The fast food places and take aways are the same as they are in any country, and they cater to the specific rubbish taste of the people of that country.

I had two of the best meals of my life in Amsterdam, one in China town, and the other at a Tapenyaki restaurant.

The third was at Golgamesh in Camden in London.

You didn't check out the Red Light area in Amsterdam?

Even just to walk through it at night?

???????????????????????????????????????
