My relationship thread...

Ok, homeslices and slicettes, here goes mah realionship thread;

Me and the gf broke up tonight for the second and final time. I picked her up at 8:15 to go out to a spanish restaurant and catch a movie afterwards, she was on time as usual, so 10 seconds after she gets in the car (she reeked of cigarettes even though she is meant to be giving up) she starts with the "I'm so tired tonight and have a headache" routine that she always seems to do, it is not that she wants to get out of the night out, just she seems to want to put a dampner on it straight away, so normally I show sympathy, but tonight I just told her to tell me when she isn't tired from now on, it will be quicker, to which she took exception. I asked her if she wanted to go home, she didn't answer, but asked me if I didn't want to be there, i replied that I did, but if she was going to be a misery it wouldn't be much fun, so she looks out of the window in silence for 5 minutes, I asked her if we were going to have silence all night or if we were gonna grow up at any point, she said "Oh I don't wana be here now", so I called her bluff and took the next exit off and drove her straight home, it was obvious she was shocked as I normally am very patient. The whole date didn't last very long as I have had time to get home and write this thread by 8:50pm.

hope you enjoy suckas

The part I don't get is you broke up for the second time? What, the first time not enough of a warning to you?

Good move bor

Even if you do get back together, enough with the crap. You arent her father and dont have to deal with her shit

Its a Canadian thing because you can be polite for only so long. Now, you answer my question...why go back? Do you love her? Could you see yourself getting married to her?

I agree w/ velvett.

NEXT!

Did you feel like it was a lost cause after break-up #2? Or go for lucky # 3?

T-bone, good move. She sounds like a drag.

Maybe this will cheer you up:

you can't milk this

I went back as I was mostly to blame for the first break up, I care for her a lot, I couldn't see myself getting married to her

cheers for the replies everyone else

(ladies leave da digits)

You made it further than I usually do......you actually had a girl in your car.

I was refering to the girl. There's been many breakups in my past. However, during the break up, I just ask myself if I would of married the girl. Only once have I said yes. As for the others, I usually breath a sigh of relief that we DIDN'T stay together.

In your case, you said that you couldn't see yourself marry this chick. Thus, I would think that you should be jumping for joy that you got her out of your life and not be so morose.

Yet, you seem sad. Thus, I ask why given that you knew that you weren't going to get married.

I'm missing something here. Where does it state that you broke up for the second time.

If you can't see yourself geting married to her then stop wasting each others time. Especially since it does not sound like your having to much fun at the current time.

Dude. The second line. :)

And good job calling the bluff Tuc.. that kinda behaviour is childish and only is encouraged if you indulge it.

thanks for replies peeps, she has since been texting me, apparently I don't live in the 'real world'

it aint' easy bro but ignore it and walk away. You will see it later that you are better off!

We must live in the same place then as my Ex doesn't think I live in the real world either, stop by for a visit one day!

lol, I just find it amusing, she creates problems for herself then accuses others who help themselves of not being in this fabled 'real world'

well keep your humour otherwise it can drive you nuts!!

LOL @ the 'real world' bullshit

Girls have said the same to me. Just tell em I did live there once, then I worked hard and moved to a better neighborhood.

lol, that is a good one

Tuc. You need to distance yourself from that kind of bullshit. And its easy for me to say that because, frankly, Im not you. But really, she sounds like a pill. You need someoen cheerful and happy with whom to share your life.

Anytime I ever acted like that around a guy (silent & complaining) was because I was normally hiding something, or not expressing my feelings. There is only so much you can do, and once a relationship gets to that point it's hard to go back to being happy & showing respect for the other person involved.
Shes' probably going to text you for a few days, because she knows she messed up. If you reply you will probably have good make-up sex, then it will be like what it was before. If you don't relpy, she will probably try to make you jealous / hurt you. Just stay strong & focus on your training! :)

If u want her outta your life u can't obsess about her. i say don't return msgs, block and delete from msn. tough luv
