Good to see the update.....nice deadlifting too....I'm proud as hell of you...everything from the bodyweight increases, to the workouts, to the strength gain, to the tone of your posts.....you're on your way, man.
 
jeff, as long as you're locking out the weight, i'd call legal - you aren't preparing for a PL comp after all.
about your barbell bench, maybe it's some form issue that's holding you back - just a thought.

I sorta got that fuck it mentality..........I still look at my abs every am and pm and still get down, but then I tell myself my cals are high and im not doing much cardio..duh..........so im gonna get a little faded........

When are we hooking up and gonna catch a game? My Student princes got raped by you know who SUnday...guess the weather didnt allow them to get chewed up Sat....it was like 56-0........blows.

Its def not my bench form, hell I've been at this for 10 years...its my shoulders, so weak.

ANy good strategies for my ham routine today? Looking to crank out a decent sweat. Been doing those smith squats with feet kicked way out, man does that crank em. prop could do it on the hack machine too, eh?

some of the stronger guys (on EF) sometimes benefit from little tweaks in their form - that's all i'm saying, not saying your form is "bad" - just sometimes you have to adjust things to suit your particular biomechanics... could be something like going too wide, maybe flaring your elbows too much. where do you bring the bar down? post up how you'd typically set up and carry out the lift.

Noooo....bro, I wasn't getting hostile, I appreciate the help....I just bench like anyone else I thought....never really paid attention.....pinkies inside the rings, down to below breast bone and angled back up?

Sure, you could be creative...PL squats and box squats are a lot of hamstring......if you're liking the squats you've been doing for them and feel you have more room to run with it, then don't fix it if it isn't broken.........I'd probably do GMs with lots of volume and leg curls to finish if I were going to train hamstrings

8,8,6,6 WAS MY DEADlift (str8) leg routine...finished with 225 for 6, cheated but finished......
TUESDAY – OCTOBER 4th (100mg of EQ TODAY – second bottle tapped)
By then end of this 10 weeker (20 weeks in total) I’ll have use 2 bottles of 250mg cyp and 2 bottles of 200mg eq) hope Im not wasting the eq at such a low dose, but I have heard of people using 200-250mg and making gains!


Today I weighed in at 170.5……fucking 20.5 lbs in 9+ weeks and my mom last night said “I can’;t tell Jeff” Where is it? Then I had her feel my bi (which I must say is coming back quickly) and she paused then continued…….you’ve always had muscle, your face just look sucken in the temple region……my gma said last week my cheeks look better…..long story short, I still got work to do. Im wonder if the ab thing is gonna hold me back. I just wish I could get rid of these chills and body numbness…something aint right. I hope its not medical, as I had a liver biopsy a year ago and blood work done then, so I hope I am still fine. Its my body fighting to stay alive….

Anyways, BigT – you know you are gonna get me over the the powerliftn side..that’s your goal! Lol……Im starting to love it…..I wish my knees weren’t so fragile so I could squat heavy but everything else I love….esp deads……..

OK, for today I got delts and tris….save the fufu shit for after if I have time. I WANT MASS…..so design my routine.

PUSH PRESS 12,10, 8,8,6,6
SIDE LATS X 3
FRONT RAISE X 2
UPRIGHTS X 2
REAR DELTS DBELL X 3
THEN MAYBE SOME FUFU 1ARM DBELL OR ARNOLDS X 3?
 
Jeff.....if it were me, I'd do :

Push Press: warm up, then the work sets, adding weight each set (5-5-5-3-3-3..then backoff with 3x8 strict presses.....on paper it looks easy, but the volume/workload take their toll and hammering push presses is much more effective than messing with laterals and reverse pec deck.

Dips: 4 sets, when you can get 4x12, add weight

Skull Crushers: 4x10ish or so reps

Good job on busting through 170, bro, you've turned the first corner and are headed for the second.....just give it more time, with your height/frame 170 is still gonna look gaunt to your family, who are used to seeing you as a stud.....you'll be back there, just don't turn back now, you've come entirely too far.
