"Now we are getting interesting Mentzer is the man in bodybuilding in my eyes along side Dorian of course!"

thats just the training part i noticed right there... i didn't have time to much

there are a few bros around here (needsize, retabolil2 off the top of my head) who ARE bodybuilders... if i wanted a bodybuilders opinion i'd be more inclined to asking them because these guys ARE jacked. JMO

I thought you competed bro?

Why would this schema be better than my previous 10, 8,8,6?

HEAVY DEADS
3 WARM UP
195x5, 205x5, 215 x 5, 220x5, 235x5
WIDE GRIP PULL DOWN
3 X 6 TO 10
CORNER T BAR ROWS
4 X 6 TO 10
REVERSE GRIP PULLDOWN
3 X 6 TO 10

BARBELL SHRUGS
4 X 8 TO 12

Jeff, neither one is 'better' or 'worse'.....I personally don't like things like '10-8-8-6' or a pyramid where reps go down and weight goes up just because people have the tendancy to blow themselves out on the lighter sets going to or near failure on the first few sets.....where adding weight to the same reps each set ensures you don't overtax on light weights and you can keep adding weight to the top end numbers that count.....in the grand scheme of things, if your poundages are going up, you'll provide the stimulus you need, I just personally like keeping reps constant for the reasons I gave.

So u like the above? Ive always heard below 6 reps for strength...8-10 for mass......10-12 for endurance

1-3 nueral efficiency and strength
3-6 strength and slight hypertrophy
6-12 hypertrophy
12-up endurance

There is really no set rule, so long as you aren't doing pure neural work (MAX singles, doubles, triples) and so long as you aren't in a pure endurance range.....5 to 8 seems to be good in that you can consistently add weight to the bar and you aren't doing pure tendon/attachment/neural work.

Sorry Ive been AWAY, but work is pretty crazy at month end and month begininng....weight is still increasing....it gets crazy on monday and tuesday because usually my carbs are low on the weekend....so this am, I was 169 1/2 after being about 165 yesterday......deads went well on Friday.....I did the 5x5, then decided for a max......Put on 285 and it took me about 3 mintues to lock it out...does this count as a lift? I wasn't sure if it did, so I did another one after about 2-3 mins.....I think I might have had 10's on top making it 295, buit I'm not sure....I'll try 295 this friday if I feel good.....bench dbell went well, although I still cant bench heavy with a barbell, I got the 80's for 2-3 at the end of my set.......today is hammy day, thinking of high repping, letting my lower back heal a tad. As long as I can see two abs in the am, I feel I'm ok since my cals are high and my cardio is nil, 20 minutes of garbage........

Bloating is still heavy and coldness is settling in daily....ankles are swole by the end of the day. On my 2nd botle of test at 250mg a week, think that makes it about week 10ish.....afteer this bottle, I am gonna hit a pct.
