My new kitty

I wanna be the first to say:

Stop getting cats. I might be confusing you with all the other broads on the board, but FUCK, you have enough as it is!

Whoa.

I only have one kitty.
My cat, Cat (in my gallery) died of a brain tumor.

Is there any way to put up full size pics of him? I hate this new shit where we can't insert images into the threads anymore.

Where did you get him and what was it that made you take him home? Sorry about your other cat. I had a cat Big Mac who died from a brain tumor when I was younger. A couple of times a few years before he died he had seizures where he could walk straight and just kind of fell on his side. That was hard to watch. Poor guy. RIP Big Mac

I will try - I couldn't the other day - but I will try again.

Ms. V., I'm sorry about Cat passing away. :(

Bide A Wee

He's got great personality, liked his belly rubbed, well groomed, didn't scratch or bite and no one else would adopt him. He had been there for over two years and what you don't see in the photos is that the front of his jaw is crooked. He was thrown out of a moving car and landed face first which did some damage. So now his front fangs are all over the place, one is kinda straight and the other stick out forward. I knew he was perfect just after I saw his big saucer eyes.

That's just how cat was - he couldn't walk and would try and drag himself around. It was so sad, I hand fed him, held him up in his pooper box until one morning he just cry out long and hard. He was seizuring so long I was besides myself when he was non-responsive. Fortunately, I live around the corner from an equine vet that has a barn full of dogs and cats. I was able to have her come over and look at kitty and we decided to put him down.

Hey Velvett.... I wanna lick your kitty.

that USPS box... did that contain Gear at some point? looking at the tape job, it seems pretty likely.

Nobody wants to hear about your girl playing with her Vibrator.

lmao...don 't think i wanna know why he needs this...

She is probably a Gusher

Lucas is a high jumper.

I've found him on top of all the dressers and armoires, the tv, the kitchen island and I've seen him eyeballing the valances in the bedroom.

God only knows what he is up to (or on top of) when I'm not home.

Last night he was in the bathroom sink.

Hey Velvett,

Thanks for letting us all see the pics. What a cutey pa tooty!! That is so sad about BOTH of your cats. I can't believe that someone would be so inhumane to throw a cat out of a moving car. People like that have no place in this world. I can't imagine having to see your cat suffer from something so traumatic like that, either. It's a good thing that he had a great owner like you to take care of him in his dying days...Karma to you...

my last cat was 19 lbs... he was a beast. his belly dragged the ground and we had to put him on science diet.

HAHHAHAHA

(I actually laughed out loud - people are staring at me...) :worried:

I have a bag of cat nip - loose (it looks like pot) I have to keep it in a tupperware in the upper cabinets of the kitchen because yours truly was rolling on the floor with it this weekend.

He has that same look on his face just before he tried to do the wild thing with his scratching post. I have to find those photos...

heheh - i do the same with my catnip as far as storage goes. i assume by "yours truly" you mean that you were rolling around on your floor in it? you really should find a better place to keep it - maybe at a nearby relative's place or something. i find myself rolling around in it at least once a week but fortunately have enough handle on the situation to know when to say when.

i bought a new scratching post this weekend because the old one was ripped to shreds. the cat i've been posting pics of has no front claw, but my younger one does. i sprinkled catnip on the new scratching post and the younger one immediately began rolling around on it and doing the rabbit kicking thing on it while spinning around the post in a circle. it looked like a sit-n-spin. big spaz

my cat gets in boxes like that....as soon as you put a box on the floor, he's in it....lol

What's with cat and boxes?!? I thought my cat was weird for doing that, now I feel better!

I have two cats, ages 9 and 13. In spite of living together for nine years now, they still barely tolerate each other, and have at best a sort of uneasy truce. I think a lot of that hostility is just play, though, since they never puff their tails up when they fight. They never lay down together or cuddle or groom each other.

I blame it all on the 13-year-old female, who was terrible when I brought the other one home as a kitten.

It's all good entertainment though.

Cool.

Tonight's kitty update.

I pan seared salmon tonight and set of the smoke detector (this thing is waaaaay too sensitive and too close to the oven) not once but three times.

Kitty's still under the sofa.

:worried:

He's just waiting for the salmon to hit the floor. :chomp: :kitty:

lol. i used to have the same problem with my smoke detector before i took the batteries out. every night i make a steak and it used to go off and out of my peripheral i could see a hazy blur of cats bolting into the bedroom. the same thing happens when someone knocks on my front door. it's like a little 15 or 20lb db shooting across your floor. it won't kill you, but you really don't want to collide with it zipping across your floor at a high rate of speed.

turn on an electric can opener and see if he's still interested in staring at the bottom of the sofa. he's 2 years old so no doubt he's already got that reaction instilled in him.

Damn! I was thinking you got your labia pierced or something.

Aww...poor thing. I hate it when my kitties get like that...mine do the same whenever I turn on the vaccum cleaner or the blender.

Is it good to give your kitty egg yolks?!?!
