Anyone ever use an inversion table? I just got one for the wife. Some friends swear by them to aid in the relief of back pain. There is no medical studies on this but it's worth a try.

for everyday maintenance yes they are awesome, but if your wife or you actually have some serious back discomfort that is more than just stiffness...don't go near it. What happens is that your discs will pull apart and that might feel ok when you're on it...but as soon as go upright again the discs will re-compress and it will drop you to the floor convulsing. Happened to me numerous times when my back was fucked up. I have an inversion table and I bought a reverse hyper. They hyper is actually better for you, even if you've slipped a disc or something.
