I just got here... and feel bad that this shit has got you kinda frustrated. You know this is an opportunity to not be stuck in a situation in which you know in your heart you gave your best and I know that if you couldn't live up to expectations when it comes to being able to close deals, then the expectations in accord with the territory were not realistic then. I'm off all week, as a mini vaca while house sitting, and two days ago, rummaging through uncles library room, found The Tipping Point, phenomenal read that blew my mind cause, it revolved around the same ideas promoted in grad school.
Gladwell, the author, illuminates the common qualities found in the most persuasive people found in our society. They are called Salesmen... I know, kinda prosaic, but still great fucking read. These people have a huge role in initiating social epidemics, by persuading people to do something when they are uncertain. They emanate huge charisma, likeabilty, energy, the ability to read people to a very high degree, and are optimistic. Moreover, they have that subtle, indescribable, hidden quality that inexplicably uplifts moods.
Bro, I know you got these qualities to a high degree... your ambitious nature will only guide you to a better gig. You are a hard worker, great at establishing relationships with clients, and are passionate about excelling at what you do, this sincere attitude will only produce results. Don't be delusional and even for a minute entertain thoughts that wreak of self doubt...
